LES R22r sont les meilleurs. Mon père a été commandant de la garde en rouge en 1987 et ça ne se dément pas. Le R22R est le meilleur. Il rayonne parmi tous!
i HAD FRIENDS WHO MET SOME OF THESE TROOPS IN THE 1970'S . THE VIN DOOZE WERE SHORT AND STRONG LIKE AN OX. NEVER MESSED WITH THESE GUYS. THEY WOULD EAT YOU FOR BREAKFAST.
@@kevinchurch5934 -- Queen Elizabeth II sent one to her goats to the Royal 22e Régiment as a mascot in 1955. The goat is descended from a prize goat given to Queen Victoria in 1883 by the King of Iran. There are several UK troops that have goats as mascots. There is no why it just is. The goat on parade is descended from that gift in 1955.
Tradition of a Goat in the British Army including the Commonwealth goes back to the battle of Bunker Hill during the 1st American civil war or as the Americans call it the revolutionary war. On leaving the Battlefield of Bunker Hill British soldiers who lost their way followed a goat along a narrow path which led them to safety from then on that that regiment along with many others adopted the goat a their Regimental mascot. Most mascots have the rank of officer, crazy I know but we Brits have a strange sense of humour.
