    Nice to see that even world champions can have their off days. Nice to see that you included all the misses on film. I tend to have more off days than good but as you say more trigger time is needed. Great video Gary.

      We all have bad days, I only hope I shoot better at the Nationals this weekend.

    Great informative video Gary. Can you tell us about the scope you are using there and the benefits of the smaller objective lens please?

    • @garychillingworth
      @garychillingworth 2 роки тому +1

      Hi Sp3ktral
      It's a 32mm Optisan CP. It's a great scope. The smaller the lense the less parallax error there is.
      Also, for high end glass a 32mm costs way less to produce then a 50mm, so Optisan can give you a much higher quality lenses if it's 32mm then a 50mm
      For me, I've had no issue with the scope Whiting out and the clarity is great.

    Thanks Gary, another fun video . I used to practice with matchsticks only at 10yds because of limited space in the garden, but still challenging.

    Gary does the 10x magnification of the scope magnify any hand shake at shorter ranges

    What range do you zero your Tx200?

      40 yards Lionel.

      @@garychillingworth hi Gary and once again great video. May I ask your reason/rationale why 40 yards and what calibre is the rifle that you’re zeroing 40 yards. Many thanks Kris.

    • @garychillingworth
      @garychillingworth 2 роки тому +2

      @@krisdabrowski7482 Hi Kris.
      In HFT the 15mm is a tough target, with a 40 yard zero and medium mounts with a .177 8.44grn pellet, all the 15mm from 16 to 25 yards are the half mill dot slash above cross hair.
      My pellet drop 1/3rd of a mill between 40 and 45, so for a long target, I put my cross hairs in the top of the kill.
      Hope that makes sense
      Chilly

      @@garychillingworth cheers Gary. Fully understand. I’d zeroed mine at 25 yds but I guess as you explain it depends what you need it for, what distances one shoots and thus what is the optimum zero to prevent lots of different adjustments for varying distances.
      Cheers Kris
