- This is my Ultimate F1 style cockpit, puts you in the right driving position! Designed from scratch to mimic the F1 driving position, offers an unexpectable comfort experience.
Fully adjustable to accommodate drivers of various heights - wheel and pedals tilt adjustment and also wheel and pedals distance adjustment, from driver. Capable to hold big size tv, if needed. Beach chair type seat.
For more info about construction guidance, visit cockpit's page on my site: sites.google.com/site/pvccock... -
Just to say, I purchased the plans for the cockpit 55 F1, Purchased all the parts as the instructions and built it. A-MAZE-ING really really pleased with it. Big thankyou.
Just some things I would add from my experience. You need to add to the build instructions what sequence you should build the parts in
not so bad if you use the screws method as you can undo, but with the glue (which I went for) there is no going back.
But yes, to re-itterate, very very pleased with it moreso than if I had purchased a cockpit. Well done to the designer.
Hey, i want to build the cockpit how did you contact the creator of the cockpit because i didn't know how to do it
This might be my another project. AWESOME!
Whao!
Hello I would like to know in what program you create the car models, since I found them very interesting and I would like to use it for other projects
Oh, I use the SketchUp (2015) + Keyframe Animation
I just donated to get the blueprints, I hope they send me the building instructions
Thank you Alfredo, just sent you!
Hi, I'm starting to consider building one of those setup and I found your video...Amazing!!! I was wondering if you were selling or giving those 3D? And at the same time if you could give me some guidance in witch setup I should build. Thanks for your help!
Hi William, I sell a detailed construction guide for this and other cockpits of mine. Have a look in my site here >> sites.google.com/site/pvccockpitsimracing/home
@@ArisTeidis Hi I have made the RIG based on your model can u check this out and thanks a ton dude.!!! ua-cam.com/video/GXCTu0fEQbM/v-deo.html
I'm interested in building one of these how can I get the blueprints or a guide for this build
Gracias
Hola, ya tengo este modelo, #51 y #52: ua-cam.com/video/9WSl0EB7J_w/v-deo.html
Hello ! do you think the PVC can handle a direkt drive wheel ?! this looks awesome !
Yes, no problem, I have tested it with my DD.
@@ArisTeidis not too much movement ?
@@AntonRacing If, maybe 1-2 mm movement lateral, but it is not noticeable at all... :)
@@ArisTeidis i think thats the way to go ...its really a good design ....
@@AntonRacing Yes, it's a good design, very close to the F1 position. If you prefer to use a car seat (which by the way offers more solid seating) I would suggest to wait 1-2 months because I'm working now on two models using car seats, one is pure F1 position and the other is a GT/F1. If You want more info, notify me at teidisaris@gmail.com and I'll send you some pictures.
Do you use the 10bar PVC Tubing or the 16bar high pressure? How sturdy is it if I'm building it from the normal 10Bar tubing?
10Bar is good enough! 16Bar is a little better but much more expensive. If you find it at the same price, of course - prefer the 16Bar.
@@ArisTeidis thank you for your answer :) great design
Hello, do you like this model the best for F1? The other one looks like it has more support for your legs? What F1 model is best and most comfortable? Thank you! I’ll buy on your site
This is my best F1 model in case you don't want (or can't afford) a car seat, otherwise I would sugest better the #69F1 ua-cam.com/video/4YtWLS59sPk/v-deo.html
in how many degrees is the chair and seat
Hard to say as this is in fact a fabric. I can't measure this. In my new model (#69) where I use a car seat, is positioned to about 24 degrees.
Hi Aris, I would like make this cockpit but I have a question before pay for the complete guide, I hope, You can answer me. How many meters I need to make it? 18m or 1.8m? I need that information to do my budget
Hi Jose, unfortunately is 18 meters and not 1,8m... It's a greedy model :) In case you fall out on the budget because of the tubes, use cheaper one (thinner). It won't make a big difference.
where should we place the u bolt
4 U bolts needed, 2 for the pedal base and 2 for the wheel base.
I'm sorry my friend, I used google translator but I couldn't understand what do you mean. Could you repeat in English, please.
@@ArisTeidis asking what software do you use to design
@@rubenmex83 Sketchup
@@ArisTeidis That answer is for Antonio Díaz Hargous.
My question is how much is the weight limit of the person who supports your design?
@@rubenmex83 I don't think there is a limit for the PVC, but surely you should use a strong fabric for the seat, in order to hold 100+ Kgr.
What material is the seat?
Any thick fabric that won't stretch, for example awning fabric.
Could you give me the measurements of your prototype?
Yes, go to model's webpage for more information: sites.google.com/site/pvccockpitsimracing/f1/pvc-cockpit-55_f1
Do you have any dimensions or instructions that you could send me
Yes I do. Go for more information to the cockpit's page on my website: sites.google.com/site/pvccockpitsimracing/home/cockpits/f1/pvc-cockpit-55_f1
Would 1 inch pvc piping work instead of 2 inch pvc piping since 2 inch piping in the U.S. costs around 400 dollars for the materials.
No, it won't be the same result...😐
@@ArisTeidis I see why it wouldnt be the same result, it would end up smaller, thank you.
@@ryanrisley6917 Correct, but except from that, the frame will be weak. Unfortunately prices for PVC tubes differ a lot from place to place. In Greece where I live, the expenses for all the materials (+ screws and clamps) would not exceed the 220€.
Donde se consiguen?
Hi Fabricio. If you need more information about this model, go to sites.google.com/site/pvccockpitsimracing/f1/pvc-cockpit-55_f1
could you reupload this project? link is not working.
Hi FiFoNz, the construction guide costs 20€ and you can find more information here: sites.google.com/site/pvccockpitsimracing/f1/pvc-cockpit-55_f1
I suggest you to use 50mm diameter High Pressure PVC. More information here: sites.google.com/site/pvccockpitsimracing/f1/pvc-cockpit-55_f1
@@thestrenge9250 On the link I sent you above you can find these information (you have to buy the construction guide).
I have send a donation but I dont receveid my plan. I don't think he saw that I had donated. Surely it is just a mistake. I imagine when seeing this everything will be sorted out: D
Thank you Etienne for your donation. I have sent you the plans!
@@ArisTeidis Thanks a lot !!

yes, for testing purposes. (photos.app.goo.gl/dv4BpQCSbcjLfqex6)
Hi! I really like the project. Could you send a refreshed link to the photos, as this one probably expired? Greetings!
Hi, try this: photos.app.goo.gl/zRxujh8WY8hTMT7Y6
Thanks! That's a really cool project. How much did it cost ultimately?
It costed about 210€. (I'm from Greece and comparative a 50mm PVC Tee costs me 1,6€ and a 90 degrees elbow costs 1€). I have made a detailed construction guide. If you are interested have a look on my site: sites.google.com/site/pvccockpitsimracing/home/cockpits/f1/pvc-cockpit-55_f1?authuser=0
