Halo Dead is Dead - Chapter 3

Hello everyone, and welcome back to Chapter 3 of Halo Dead is Dead. A Bungie-era Halo adventure ‪@jaycee89‬ and myself have embarked on in the Master Chief Collection. In this episode we are attempting commence Halo: Combat Evolved.
The rules are simple. Starting from Halo: Reach through to Halo 3, any deaths that result in a checkpoint reset send us packing straight back to Winter Contingency to start again. Revivals if one player survives long enough are available but be sure not to die while your partner is 'down'. If they're in a spot you can't reach them you must finish the level solo to enable a Search and Rescue revival for the next level. For one level each game we can declare a mulligan, the checkpoint resets wont send us back but it must be declared at the start of the level and can't be redeemed if we don't die.
Sit back and listen to us chew the fat, have a few laughs, and make plenty of embarrassing lore mistakes along the way.

It is an iconic series I keep coming back to even though I'm a little worse every time I go through them as the time between each playthrough grows. I grew up with these games though, so I can't help but feel a little nostalgic for them
