From what I remember of the 4 main characters one was the leader of a rebel group,another one was a princess,one was the daughter of the main villain and the last one was from Earth which is funny as that was where they had they're first battle together as a team piloting Dangaioh.
Until I got the d.v.d.s for the Japanese version of Tranzor Z called Mazinger Z this was the first time I had ever heard of Ichiro Mizuki so when I first saw Mazinger Z and I heard Mizuki's voice singing the theme song I thought his voice sounded familiar as he was part of the singing duo for the Dangaioh theme song.
I remember seeing the Japanese version of this as I have the English dubbed version of the last 2 episodes and in the first one the 4 heroes couldn't remember they're pasts as the doctor who brought them together apparently wiped they're memories and made them think they were androids till the main Heroine Mia Alice started remembering her past and in the same episode it was the same with the team member who was the daughter of the series main villain and one thing about that first episode where it was revealed Mia was from Earth is how the heck the doctor got his hands on her I mean I might know how he got the others as the main villains daughter was sent to him for training,the princess was a refugee from her home planet that was destroyed and the rebel leader was betrayed by 2 of his own people as that was revealed in the 3rd and final episode but I sure would like to know how the heck the doctor got Mia from Earth without that huge ship of his being spotted.
