The morning started off with an Anthony Bourdain inspired banh mi visit at Banh Mi Phuong at 2B Phan Chau Trinh. This banh mi was so filling and meaty, Unfortunately for me, it wasn't the best in the world, but it was delicious nevertheless.
Then I met a street singer who along with his two friends sell personal toiletries like q tips and toothbrushes in the streets of Hoi An. Great street performance.
Afterwards we went over to Cua Dai Beach, the closes beach to Hoi An where I bought some fake sunglasses and flew a kite.
The airport in Da Nang was crowded as usual and our flight was delayed for about an hour. Arriving back into Saigon later than expected, I met up wtih some Canadian friends and we had a late lunch and I went home and crashed in exhaustion.

The star of this video is the street singer. Give that guy thumbs up!
yes. give him thumbs
thank you for your support to those poor vendors. They are on the streets all days to sell things to collect pennies to support their families. your a few dollars is really mean and help them a lot. That singing guy is really good. the song is sad but so touching emotion (about a man in love with a lady but could not marry her..)
Thank you for making this video. Thank you for supporting street vendors. You are awesome.
Great job Kyle! Best youtube channel about Vietnam.
i like that ring
That guy's pretty good! You should book him for your wedding :-)
I always love and respect you buying stuff to support the seniors and local sellers, keep up the good work.
Enjoy the dancers and street musician. Express the culture respectfully. Your generosity to the street vendors are always heartwarming. Keep it up, Kyle.
thanks for the comment
thanks for your hard work Kyle! the whole family loves watching your videos!
good vlogs kyle! enjoy them so much! Cheers and keep up the good vids
thanks
thumbs up for supporting the vendors, i always buy stuff that i don't need.
they work so hard!
thanks for this
What is the song in the first part of the video? Its EVERYWHERE but i don't speak viet and can't find it myself.
hay ve di
Andrew looks great with them rays.
I love ur videos so much and glad to see u makin a video bout my beautiful hometown Hoi An . ❤️from 🇨🇦
thats good to hear. thank you
Kyle: very cool of you to support the vendors like that. Shows true character.
My true character is what I do off camera. On camera is an extension of who I am but everyone acts and behaves differently when there is a camera around. Just because I help a vendor on camera doesn't mean I'm a good person. It just means I like to help very vendors. I'm a good person when I have many good people around me. Not because of what I do on and for UA-cam.
The sun glasses you got on the beach fit your face better
Keep up the good work Kyle! it's very informative and entertaining. I will be visiting Vietnam soon :) Watching your videos I can see how Vietnam has changed so much since I've been there 8years ago! :) look forward to more videos.
yes. comments like these, i appreciate the most. thank u
Hi Kyle Le. thanks for producing great informative videos .
That song in the beginning is the song Xuan sang!
Nostalgic.
What? Its name is Em hay ve di ("My dear, please leave").
i'm so excited to go to Vietnam! i will be there for three weeks. thanks for all your vlogs really enjoy watching them!
The Street Singer was outstanding and the Banh Mi really looked delicious.....I miss hearing all the beeping of the motor cycles and buses in Vietnam.......I miss hearing the lady with the cart in District 1 that sells those wonderfully sweet green oranges.....looking GOOD Andrew! BTW, the folks are great who own the Vinh Chung Hotel in District 1 in Saigon......another thought, the food is also great at the restaurant, The Rose, in Saigon.....
uhhhh thanks
The best part about this video is by far the singing part... One moment you're concern about being rip off, the next moment you are so generous with a big heart for the vendors. LOL
even though ther might not be that big of a difference between vendors with carts or shops or vendors without, it varies
I really like that you helping out the local people. Keep it up. :) That singer is also talent....
thanks!
The guy at the beginning of the video has an amazing voice! Thanks Kyle for sharing the video.
i miss vietnam. scared to go back. maybe once i will go back to my home town

God the sound of the song in the beginning is like dorchester MA in the summer time!!! Love it!!!

Great work! hope you get lots of rest and self care time. Also I so wish that shirt was a patch! I'd buy a million of them and give them as gifts
I really loved this video. My parents’ hometown was 10 kms from Hoi An; They moved to Saigon in early 60’s, my mom used to called the tofu pudding lady to the house after lunch and all of us would have pudding for dessert. And haha, I was born in Lac Xuan hospital, Go Vap!!! Btw, my eyes were on Andrew the whole time lol.
Lol I literally ran into Seb & Nina in pmh the other day. Also, that shirt is legendary.
cool story. you can buy it later. ships from canada
Great looking Banh Mi, I will try it the next time I visit Hoi An. THanks for the tip!
Your friend is super cute especially when she's jamming to that music
thank you
The sunglasses give Andrew a look of confidence and almost arrogant but not quite. Overall they make him look very good. Excellent style choice for Andrew
Learning the lyrics to Em Hay Ve Di thanks to you, Nina and coastlinefire.
You should go to someplace in north of Viet nam that it's mazing people, food ,landscape wow .i love your channel

Damn I remember watching your vids when you were at 1k subs!
I actually liked the street singer guy part LOL.... Where is the extended version of him singing? HAHAHA!!!
This place went down hill because they had an E-Coli outbreak with their banh mi’s. Over 300 people got sick. Not everyone is scared to eat at that banh mi stall.
Kyle le he has a great heart, i Love your job, guy.
This guy sing very beautiful voice thank you cannot see any give moneys sad no moneys.
That 7/11 shirt is 🔥🔥💯 reminds me of our hot dog runs
I was waiting for this, ty Kyle :D
Best banh mi I’ve ever had was in Edmonton Canada. Loaded and well balanced
Looking really GQ with your new shades Andrew.
Andrew looks like a cool Viet spy in those glasses!
That street singer reminds me Xuan. Really want to see her new vids with you Kyle
Wow that man can sing, I don't understand a single word, but it sounds Atahua(Beautiful), since watching ur video's, and hearing about their stories, I have learnt more about Vietnam than what they taught us at school, from bk in my days, the 70's-80s. All I know is, War stuff that we only saw on tv, Sorry Kyle, but I don't like America Canada England and Australia, bkoz of History. I do like South Korea, Japan and no thanks to U, Vietnam, you've enspired me, so I Thanku for opening my mind and exploring their country. Comment by Tracy Iraia 🇳🇿🌏🇳🇿 NZ 😎
Why Andrew never crack a smile? He doesn't look like he wants to be part of the group.
I'm a huge fan of your channel Kyle. Keep it up bro! Remember my name we'll see each other someday in Vietnam.
thank you Jack. tell your friends.
Beautiful voice!!! 🦋🌸
Neu kenh ban ma co phu de tieng viet thi hay qua

Great video Kyle.
Andrew you look great!
Sometimes go up to CuChi or Trang Bang for us old G.I.s who were stationed there, keep up the excellent work.
What do u want to see exactly?
Im from winnipeg lol. heading to Vietnam in Sep.
I don't know why but I feel sad for the singing guy.
0:09 He's way more classy than the host. Why dance to this song?
This KyLe....he can talk very fast but he does not have much of an EQ. One day he will get beaten up by some of the Vietnamese annoyed by him.
The poor dude was just trying to make a living on the street and those idiots seemed to be mocking him. Very classy.
Yeah man, one day, an "accident" is bound to happen to this KyLe. I hope by then, his fast mouth can help him out :). I wish him all the good health in the world because he's gonna need it very soon.
@@letruong1 Kyle wasn't mocking the singer. He was singing along and danced a little. What is wrong with dancing to a sing?????
Hey Kyle u fixed the nước mắm shirt!! I'm still waiting to buy mine. I also want the cải lương and chill shirt
thank you. watch facebook. next few days shirts will be available
Adore the danish guy, eating everything very well 👍🏻
Kirin S,no offense to the guy but the foods are much healthier, cheaper and tastier than the over priced frozen junks that they eat back in Denmark.
Banh Mi Phuong was the best banh mi I ever had and I live in SoCal! We went there for banh mi every morning when we're in Hoi An. Gets the Special with egg, only 25,000 vnd. I'd skip the Roast Pork...it's tough and chewy.
thanks for sharing.
That dessert you had on the beach was SoyBean curd with Ginger Simple Syrup.
cool thanks for the info
The song is em hay ve di
Thank you, was wondering!

It's caramelized ginger syrup. Goes well with hemorrhoids cream. And get some rest, Kyle! Great video!

"Oh thanks, Kyle. You got me some genuine RayBans."
Noise cancelling head phones might help with the noise in Saigon and plane
