Listening to You Made Me Realise in 1988 I was. That's 32 years to this playlist. So you kids into this shoegaze revival would be the same as me being into rock'n'roll/rockabilly revival in 88. There's no way I woulda been into that. So this is an interesting perspective. Having said that these groups are doing fine replicas of shoegaze. Hard not to like.
I don't have fb or whatever (crap) but I stay on the scene since 1982 (I think the first pre-shoegaze was Cocteau Twins-Garlands), now I am old grey fart and my beard is white as snow but I am still shoegazing, listening DKFM and discovering new bands. Shoegaze forever!!!

Facebook is a good start. There's a group on there called "Shoegaze, Dream Pop and Nugaze". I highly recommend joining if you dig this music.
