tbh im glad they didnt take it, i also like shoegaze but i think had they taken that path they probably would have died out like a lot of other shoegaze bands did from the time (plus having to be compared to mbv). hearing shoegaze interpretations of their work is still really cool though

In my own opinion I prefer this version.
