  • 2020 marks 50 years since the release of George Harrison's landmark album, 'All Things Must Pass'. To pay tribute to Harrison and that fantastic record, here is a cover of the song "I Live For You", which was originally recorded during the 'All Things Must Pass' sessions, but was left off the initial track listing. The song was finally released on the 30th anniversary of the album's release, and has been a favorite of mine ever since.

Really enjoyed your cover and the lovely harmonies. I feel the same way about the song as you do. You may have read the Wiki page about the inclusion of the song on the 2001 re-master - it says that George included it partly as homage to Peter Drake, who played pedal steel guitar on the recording...

Thanks very much! Yes, I had read that same thing. I'm glad he decided to release it back in 2001. It's been a favorite of mine since then.
