In a lot of ways, Mazikeen is really similar to Lucifer. While their time on Earth has changed them both, Lucifer is almost unrecognizable from the devil Eve knew in the Garden of Eden. Maze, on the other hand, hasn't changed much. She has people she cares for (Trixie, Linda and Chloe) but she still enjoys chaos and inflicting pain like the old Lucifer.
Maybe Eve's person isn't Lucifer anymore. Maybe he never really was. And maybe, just maybe, it's always been Maze.

im glad the show isnt rushing their relationship. like its obvious eve has some issues with herself on the inside. Eve doesnt even know who she is or who she wants to be. i hope eve can come back and finally love who she is. I wish someone would have told eve this. You cant love someone else until you love yourself. Eve def has feelings for maze but she is scared, i can understand that. Maze had the same issues, maze didnt love herself but when she finally did, she was happy
