sad news. good luck to them finding new work. RAYARK 👎👎
Lmao, this is the same company that silently cancelled Implosion Zero Day after a 400k successful Kickstarter campaign.
Sad to see how bad Rayark has fallen over the years
With that amount of evidences, and they dare to lie to their consumers. Shameless.
I don't know what you're trying to imply. It most certainly isn't "it's just what it is". This whole hooplah can be avoided so easily. What do you even mean fair enough to Rayark saying "developing AIGC in the gaming industry"? Give me 5 examples of games that use AI in their illustrations off the top of your head.
So many successful games with 2D environments and illustrations don't even use it. If there are games that tastefully use it, it's for some sort of gimmick. Not replacing of jobs for lower quality productions when Rayark (the one who claims to love arts and encourage artists to improve) already has enough money to increase those instead. If your fanbase consists of mostly loyal fans rather than increasingly new people, why would you risk PR or quality? It makes zero sense.
ai art is bad because ai is supposed to be a tool of human labor, so it should be applied to labor and production jobs that require a lot of effort with low wages rather than taking up art's jobs that are low-risk and high-paying jobs. AI as a human tool is being used by a few greedy people and this is gradually pushing human away from progress towards happiness.
That's rude, no respect to artists. Well, gamers doesn't understand real arts they just want nice and fun games. Artists has been suffering from drawing, and training theur styles and they're saying AI arts good just wtf. This also this affecting gaming industry, AI arts becoming now but nowhere good games found lol. Because most AI arts are made for profits and p*rn, do not care about real quality and passion.
We like to take a look at Ai arts from time to time, songs too at that, but i ALWAYS will appreciate both work of artists and singers, but i also gonna appreciate of those few people who are putting effort into convincing looking AI made art/song
well if it is true that rayak using AI as Their " artist " and replace Most Basically Key founding of their games that is the scum moved Ever, But I learn my lesson not to take one side of story and look at it from other angle. that remind me of Beyonetta Old VA that tried to Blackmailed The company behind beyonetta 3.
Yes just wait and see, don't just jump to conclusions based on emotions as that's how usually propagandized "journalism" works.
Yikes, i love deemo and cytus. Sad to hear this
was just thinking about playing cytus 2 again and then i found out about this, wowww
I'm going into post-secondary for illustration. I've never hated AI art. Like how the rise of digital media became a tool for artists, I think AI can become a very useful tool when used properly. I mean, digital art programs are an equivalent to synths. Even if they exist, there will always be a market for traditional media. Cases like this, however, scare me when it comes to future job security. Why hire an artist that will take a few hours to create a high-quality product when and AI can do it in mere seconds? Not going into machine learning and plagerism, it's scary to think that employers will opt out of human labor in favor of an AI that doesn't need to be payed.
Like with downloading music online, I really hope we reach a point to where there are proper regulations to this type of thing.
I think they made implosion never lose hope
Oh I played that!

@@a.k.amatsu4876 im an artist myself and honestly its so sad that almost no one gets it even when i try to explain
Companies are not "there to make money" and in claiming that, you are endorsing companies to behave like an axe in the woods. Any company first and foremost has to satisfy customers, else it'll lose them and be endangered of going bankrupt (or at least that's what should happen in a functioning system).
Secondly companies have to abide legislative *and moral* boundaries as they are still actors within our society, thus should be held accountable to the same moral code as we individuals are. AI art is a contentious topic that not only divides people, but also changes our perception of artistic expression, work ethics and many more difficult sounding terms. I personally think the advancements in AI development are great and highly interesting, but no amount of personal interest or technological curiosity should endanger people, be it physicaly, psychologicaly, sociologicaly, financialy or in any other way. There are human lives and existances on the line after all.
Substituting human workers with AI not only takes away precious jobs from humans that honed their skills over years and decades and desperately need the money to survive in this mess of a society, it also takes away the sense of worth associated with that job.
Thirdly, and this i have to aknowledge in advance is highly opinion-based, art just like sports or music is about human achievements. I don't care how fast a robot can run, swim, how far it can throw some rocks, discs or anything when watching sports, i don't care how beautifully a computer can interpret the Moonlight Sonata when listening to music and i also don't care what sort of pictures an AI can draw when wanting to look at art. Sure, there might be people out there that are interested in this and exactly this type of content, but that doesn't mean in the slightest, that we should just sacrifice human arts & crafts in favor of computer-generated ones. But this is what is happening! Actual living and breathing artists are either deliberately laying down their jobs or losing them because of monetary constraints and other, more morally questionable factors. AI art has a place, yes, but it's not anywhere a human could have done the deed instead.
lol Rayark persona non grata
Screw Ai taking artist work
I think this comes back to the problem between old tech vs new tech. If i remember correctly, digital art also face the same problem
dang so freaking sad
rayark L again
You're right. Most consumers don't really care if it is AI or not
I agreed. They'll care until they're thirsty for a new game, then they don't care anymore.

When the Industrial Revolution began, people started the Luddite movement, worried that machines would take away their jobs. And now, most of the production is done by machines. I believe that painting will go through a similar process. Just as machines do most of the production activities, but human production activities are not meaningless (for example, craftsmen's handmade watches are still expensive), paintings will have more and more AI roles, but they will not lose human roles. If you look at this event from that perspective, it looks like a little bit of pain as the times change.
I think what Rayark really did wrong in this case was that even at important events such as their large-scale updates and collaborations with other games, they only painted with AI, and released it without editing (and so a picture with six fingers came out). I honestly think that this point deserves criticism. Since picture AI is not perfect yet, I think this incident has shown that a human role is still needed to use it in important events.
If its good idc
Woooooooooow

Silence. Be quiet for multiple consecutive days.
As a musician I literally feel no sympathy for artist.
pretty sure ai will do the same to musicians
@@Livelaster a bit late to the party there bud. Synthesizing has been in music since the 90s.
synthesizers and AI generated music are miles different by definition. You're tellling me you're fine with AI composing all the music in the future?
@@pat9703 As an instrumentalist it’s not different at all. It’s cheaper to get a synth than to hire a person.
It’s not a matter of being ok with it. It’s a matter of reality and being prepared for it. Just think of all the music you currently listen to. Do you think most of it was played by instrumentalist? Maybe for live concerts at best. Are you suddenly going to boycott any music that isn’t played by a band? No, you’re not. You’ve got to adapt as an artist. Don’t try to be Kodak.
AI art is only going to get better. So artist can hate it all they want and quit their job if it makes them feel better. The bills aren’t going to pay themselves and you gotta be able to provide for yourself. The best solution is to find a way as an artist to work with new tech not against it.
@@ladithepkk I dont think u have the slightest idea of what you are talking about. All of the AI "art" is just plagiarazed work of other artists. there is no art in it, just a soulles copy of whatever was fed into the program. It can be used for good things, but right now its just exploiting others.
This is the future of every video game company.

@@a.k.amatsu4876 You sound just like uncle that thinks we should get rid of all machines and do everything by hand again.
@@dantevic You're just putting words in his mouth lol. Machines are created to serve us ridding of the most menial of tasks. RIckshaws are taxis now so people don't break their back. Factories have large machines combined for mass production, which would be less than possible by hand, unless you're a sweatshop.
Artists produce creative, meaningful works that are distinct, bursting with flair and actually wants to refine every stroke, unlike the same everyday task of assembling a chair.
@@OrbitalForce so thats what you think? Distinct, meaning lol. Is that why most things today never seem to really remembered unlike past creations. Singers today come and go and forgoten but singers from 30+ year ago are still remembered and idolized to this day, even movies and tv shows. While i do prefer A.I to not take over people livelihoods its clear it will get better and better. Technically has an infinite amount of time to get better while humans do not.
@@dantevic you answered what i said yourself. Singers today come and go, while people in the past are remembered. that's exactly the case because people put their highest efforts into the songs they make, while many (not all) now rely on synths, ai generated melodies, inspiration from idk, Google? In the past, every bit of a song is created individually and then made together, or is recorded altogether through teamwork called a BAND. They are MANUALLY crafted together.
A.I. being able to make music, for example, would just be generated once and then forgotten. Why? There was zero effort "making" it because it's algorithmic and has no human connection to it at all. Where's the thought? Where's the effort? Where are the meanings behind a song, epicly crafted with the HUMAN sense?
I'd rather listen to hand written (or typed) lyrics in a song, or manually composed music, rather than crappy jukeboxai one-offs.
