I've been watching your page for awhile now. I think your really good. Each time I watch something you put on you have made a small but important thing come to full light. Looking forward to a lot more. Thanks
Good video. And taking your time is a good advise to make to everyone. Still after a lot of years of leather work, every time I ever get in a hurry I manage to screw up & then I have to hide that screw up. And sometimes that screw up can't be hid.
Very nice work ! I have done more belts & knife sheath's over the years here in Chicagoland it seems ! Always like watching other people doing the same projects , and giving me better ways to give my customers the best I can accomplish ! Thanks for sharing your skills and how you go about making yours...reddoc custom leathers Chicago.
Just got a cheap leather working kit today and had my first attempt at fooling around with the stamps. Not much luck but some of the tips and techniques you talked about will help me I think. Thanks
Funny you made the comment about the fingernail...I have a gnarled little finger and often when tooling, it drags the leather. I had to resort to putting a small piece of a latex glove on that finger and hold it with tape.
Thank you for sendinding the info on the beader. I have contacted him and have purchaced a beader. One other question. What size hollow Diamond stamp do you use. Thanks for your help!
I thought your video was well done.was not sure how long that belt was in the refrigerator? For you to case.but nicely done. My tools are not the best but what I can afford again thanks.
I don't use the refrigerator unless something goes wrong with my planning. 9/10 times I wet leather the night before, wrap it in a wool blanket, and leave it on the countertop overnight.
I cannot find a hollow diamond tool anywhere Barry King never replies as he is sold out, what size is the one you use here, great tutorial very precise .
Four years late to this party but I found it really useful! Thanks Ben.
Amazing craftsmanship. Glad your videos popped up in my algorithm!
Great video with a lot of valuable info. Thanks for taking the time to do this video and share it!!!
I found your videos informative . Learned a few things just starting with belts after 11 years of leather work.

Most accurate video on this subject! Tks👍
Fantastic video, I love basket weave patterns! I am curious though, how would you typically finish a belt like this?

Excellent tutorial. Please make more
More to come!
Hi Ben. Thanks for the work. Tell us what kind of leather you work with. Is this a buffalo?, what kind of dressing? Thank you and good luck!
I like and hope you continue to do videos!! This one is very informative and was easy to watch!!
Great video! P.S. I believe "Going into the Final (or Home) Stretch" typically refers to horse racing. 😛🐎
Some good info here, thank you. Also, thank you for using metric measurements :D
Hello Ben, here's a question from the Netherlands... how do you get those beautiful deep lines in a belt?
Thanks for the video.
Получился белорусский народный узор! 😊
Thank You enjoy your videos
Welcome and congratulations
Thank you for sendinding the info on the beader. I have contacted him and have purchaced a beader. One other question. What size hollow Diamond stamp do you use. Thanks for your help!
The sizing has changed since I bought mine, this one is 3/4" long.
Very good video thanks
Thanks. Good video. Where did you get the diamond stamp
Thanks.
Muy buena explicación desde Argentina
I would like to purchase the beader in your video Where could I find one?
Barry King tools.
It would be helpful to see close up on the tooling as you work.
awesome video, what is the geometric tool you used?
what size is the diaond stamp you are using? It looks like one Berry King makes.
How long do you soak your straps in water before you put it in the blanket?
Maybe 10 seconds? Not long.
Do you not see your layout line running down the middle of the belt after you stamp it?
If you scribe it lightly and glass it afterward, there’s no trace.
great vid. thx

Diamond Tool sold at Hobby Lobby.
Negative. This stamp is a stainless Barry King, a world of difference between the two.

It used to be the #2, but they've got more sizes now. It's about 3/4" on the long side.
@@BMGeisler i believe 3/4" would be a number 4
@@lbdeuce Probably so. Back when I bought this diamond he only made two sizes.
What is berry king tool tool wib site

I'm good at measuring. I've got a 12 inch member...or maybe thats 12 centimeters. Very confusing.
Cool design.. you might want to minimize the commentary
It's a livestream, not a standalone instructional, so... no.
talk too much and show little of what you are doing. Tilt the camera to a different angle
At least you didn't over-pay.
Where can i get one of them glory line stamps from please sir?
Ellis Barnes made this one when he was alive, if you wanted one it would have to be custom made.
@@BMGeisler what is the name of the tool. And im going to try to have one made. And thank you
@@readytostartshooting It's a triangle camouflage tool.
