I have never seen someone so perfect at doing their job, this guy is incredible. I loved the truck and it made me get curious about road trips and camping, nice one. If possible, could you please do a review on the 2020/21 Kia Rio. I would love to hear your input on the car.
Imagine owning this. One day you wake up and decide to take a year trip. Around Southern African. Lesotho 🇱🇸 , Botswana 🇧🇼, Nambia 🇳🇦, Zimbabwe and Mozambique 🇲🇿.
The host is one of the best i have ever seen, he had my attention the whole time, explained things clearly, overall great review, keep up the good work sir.
i saw this bad boy while walking tafelberg road a one morning a few months ago i thought it was the coolest thing ive ever seen, i shouldve taken a picture
Absolutely brilliant review. This is the perfect family, long distance adventure home. Gustav, we can’t believe you are letting it go. The presenter is awesome too - we’re not selling ours but want a review for our 6x6 just like this!!! 👏👏👏
My South African Boer brothers will love trekking from Namibia to the coast in this truck so I'll see this around Durban/Port-shepstone probably twice a year from next year lol Love it.
2003, my Very Significant Other got sick. Naturally, we acquired a 1997 Ford CF8000 to convert to our concept of an ExpeditionVehicle. In less than a week -- while selling everything -- we completed our conversion and hit the road from Oregon with the vague goal of 'south'. . Twenty-four months twenty-four thousand miles around South America. Alaska, Panama, all over North and Central America. . With nearly two decades full-time live-aboard, we feel slightly uneasy during our house-sitting gigs. Something about a stand-still house seems... disconnected from outside.
This is the first RHD Expedition Vehicle I've seen reviewed. Most are German LHDs. And it's amazing. I'm sure the price is prohibitive but I'm glad it exists for the one day I hit the jackpot. 😅
Sea pride foods walvis bay has exactly the same truck that goes anywhere and literary climbs mountains when making deliveries at lodges and rest camps,4×4 power in that monster is out of this world
Epic review I don’t think there anyone who won’t want this machine 😮👌! I think in Jhb it saw one of these in Boksburg for sale new but it looked wayyy smaller than this.
At grocery stores in town, Karens scold us about our 14mpg at 52mph. "And how many mpg do you get in your apartment?" . We prefer staying in an area, saturated in the people and events. We rarely travel more than a hundred miles a month, so fuel mileage is irrelevant.
I work in remote areas and all I need is 2 trees cause I use a fully kitted hammock for accommodation . And man do I get jealous when I bump into these expedition rigs in the middle of nowhere ,which is every expedition I go on . Only time you'll find me turn into a little groupie and ask to shown the rigs . Mostly German couples 👌🏽
🥺🥺🥺😃This is for the enthusiasts and minimalist would love to have one, avoiding paying for rates, water and lights. I would like to experience have a jolly good camping trip in it. My only worry is the "nyaope" boys, they see fortune of things they can steel
You make a valid point about Class Envy. Our rig is bashed half-to-death. Paint peeling, "pin-stripes' from bushes and branches. Our image -- another of the trod-on just making it through another day.
10kw of batteries is 'enough to power two 3 bedroom homes' haha, apart from it being an obscure example no way would it be enough under normal usage. I built something similar to this and In winter I have to be very careful with 8kw for one person with 2kw of solar. Nice build but I have to wonder about how much of it is really necessary considering it is probably around 200K + in cost.
@@jedics1 i hear you. But you still need to dig the hole for the blackwater even when it it rains. Otherwise you will have the crew swimming in pooh or you'll have to starve them untill it is not raining😆😆😆 Either way that hole needs digging and i can bloody tell you it won't be me!!!😆😆😆 Edit: we can, i suppose, deviate from our overland trekking route a bit and drain the black water on a politician's front lawn, without having to dig any holes😆😆😉😉 Legend has it those trucks spin easily on wet grass😆😆😆
So I have a question about the bathroom system specifically the toilet and black tank solution that you mentioned @10:06 which can neutralize the black water, make it harmless to the environment and allow it to be disposed of anywhere basically. What is that solution called that does this?
There are much more luxurious versions made in Germany and elsewhere. But, at a price: Atacama, Bliss/Action Mobil, Unicat, etc. Though, traveling Africa and the world in this truck is a death sentence currently. Possibly the reason for being for sale.
@@katlegomohlala5545 I think it is obvious that the pandemic is a killer with limited medical resources and continuous waves. I had plans to travel Africa and the world (as initially said), but the pandemic stopped me in my tracks (though not in such a fancy truck). I loved to go to Namibia, but for now it is not on agenda soon. Less maintenance is a relative wording, though I will agree on fuel consumption. I have been in a Unicat (MAN truck chassis) in Namibia (Germans travelling Africa - allowing me checking it out). These units are amazing with unbelievable technology.
In fUDA, a RecreationVehicle such as this operates on a sedan operator license. If you can qualify for a Toyota Pree-us, you get in and head up a rough logger track for summers around a remote mountain lake or follow a trail for winters on isolated Baja beaches.

Ciro is such a fantastic presenter with a brilliant sense of humour, big hello from 🇦🇺
Ciro always displays so much energy when reviewing cars
Hats off to you Ciro, this is indeed a proper review.
That is a well thought out motor home, Only if I could afford 😜😭
But why not review the driver's cabin? I was looking forward to that.
One of the better expedition trucks I have ever seen. Better than many others. Thanks.

Yes. Its great. You should see mine when it's ready
That iloli took me back to my childhood. That's what we called trucks when we growing up the in EC.
Yeah I was thinking the same. Iloli derived from Lorry. Clever plate
Wow, Bantu languages are closely connected. I'm kamba a small tribe in Kenya and we call lorries iloli too 😂

I remember, Port Shepstone was that town that stood up against rioting and looting. Good job guys.
Love from USA.
Manufacturers must wake and make a vehicle like this! This is absolutely BRILLIANT!!!! I’d absolutely love to own one or two
There are. Search for unicat overland, and so on.
Wow! I had no idea... I’ll check it out 👍
Awesome rig
How could you sell something so amazing! Awesome review.
Probably thé best bachelor pad money can buy. 🤩🤙🏻
Hahaha... And when the bachelor no longer likes his surroundings, he can just drive away. But not before he's emptied the black water tank. ☝🏾🤣🤣🤣

We have six 305-Watt photovoltaic panels, a total of 1,830-Watts feeding our AGM bank.
Instead of growing our generator, we simplified our use.
One Aircon 12 v DC to DC is about 1200 kwh full blast, so there 8 hours to run out of juice.
Veramente bello. Complimenti

Yep, Iloli😌
What? This is beautiful
That is epic
Fascinating

We have a overland unimog.. Thay went up to Africa we have named it the Ark.. Not as fancy but will go where the Iveco cant go..
Cold beer is illegal right now 😭
May we please have a SENTIMETAL STICKER PACK

Why dig a hole for the blackwater if you can just pooh into more tiny holes?

2.4 mil

Hi this is a great vehicle! has it been sold yet? I would be interested!
How much is it?

Look at unicat videos. That one should go around fore between 3-5 mil
