This is a fantastic setup. Job well done to the guys at Alu-Cab. I was actually watching a video of an overland setup for a Toyota Tacoma when this popped up in my suggestions and it's so refreshing to see this kind of content from a local channel.
Thanx for this, this is one of the best videos of you that I have seen. You forgot to give price and also the link to the supplier. Regards, Mzwandile(Gqeberha). Next time you are in PE please let us know, we'll do a fan club outing. How's that?
Beautiful, very beautiful set of indoor and outdoor comping , what is the website if I want check other relevant product. Also can you let us know how much it does cost in US Dollar? thank you
HI, i ve got alu-cab canopy camper on a 2021 hilux here in the uk, was interested to know where i could purhcase the rear veiw camera bracket to use with the oem hilux camera
Please can you tell us how much for this setup, ideally a link to pdf or spreadsheet on your website so we can download it and look at the cost of the individual items and cost of labour/installation. Thanks for the awesome vids. Keep up the great work
Look, the setup is really nice and aftermarket accessories have come a long way in making camping setups easier to set up. But depending on price and the trip to be taken, a decent Off-road trailer should be a better solution. Fuel consumption is the same for me towing an Echo with a Hilux 2.4 Auto and its not as unstable on the open road as this. You might even be able to go on rougher terrain with the trailer, than in this. All said, this is a Showcase vehicle so marketing is the goal here, not necessarily functionality. Looks good
Agreed. I wouldn’t take this setup on any difficult tracks. You be better off leaving the van at a campsite and exploring. If you’re just touring it’s perfect I think. Also a good van plus your truck is much more expensive overall. Towing sucks, and this sets up quicker, too. Only issue I find with the Alucab setup personally is there isn’t much storage space. Long range trips might be an issue.
The folding shower is not a Alucab design , it was originally designed by an Australian company called Quickpitch in western Australia over 4 years ago and the owner who designed the device is a South African who is also the owner of the company, this concept has been copied by dozens of other manufacturers around the world who have very rarely acknowledged who actually designed the device
Everytime i see a build like this i genuinely ask myself if there is actually someone that uses it, always clean and new. Very cool and all no question about it, but does it make any sense at all? Who uses it? Why not building an actual VAN instead?
Take a nap. I doubt you know a hilux. Just hate it ... that ok, but don't ridicule yourself with assumptions. You can't be talking about moose test on the new hilux 🚶♂️🚶♂️
Hi there, thanks for watching. We did enquire with Alu-Cab about the pricing. They said that as every build is unique, they prefer to receive enquiries and then tailor a build for the client. All the details are on their website which you'll find in the description of the video
Hi , since well we are facing pandemic and the scare of sleeping at the hotels crips the mind. Why can’t we have a website special to turn our bakkies for adventure . I like the way they made that one as it will fit my family
The price of the vehicle and alucab is exorbitant, much cheaper to sleep in the lodge? They supply 5 star food, bed, shower, aircon, etc. And nobody wants to steal your vehicle. Eish.
Could never get behind the Hilux 100%...always felt like it was a Car-Truck. the Corolla interior just makes my shit soft...and then i saw that moose test fail and my gosh...what a shitshow. If it would fix the interior to be more rugged and they added better engine options in latin america i would go for one.
I work at Alu-Cab here in Cape Town , I must say we put our hearts into these products, great review

Ciro i have to be sober to properly set up this overaland 😂 otherwise i see myself sleeping in the drivers seat 😂 great review bro👊 you the best.

Ciro gets better and better every video, I really enjoy him. Keep up the great content
I like this a lot. Only thing I’d change is to use a single cab over a double cab bakkie. I think there’s more opportunity for customization that way
This looks great. My dream is to have one of these or similar, and just explore the country. There are so many hidden corners of SA to explore.
Highly suggest you mention their options and pricing on something like this. Great watch something for " wanne ek groot is"
Hard to beat the Alu-cab product.
Good guys too!
Beautiful build. Nice colour of the truck. Impressive 🔥
Just amazing; would be nice to know the damage.
this is the coolest rig ever, man i wish i was in south africa.
This is incredible
I have an Alucab on a ranger in Taiwan. Am very happy with it.
Tanks, incredible good presentation!

You can see this was built by people who really love camping. They thought of everything. Really, really nice car.
Lool this killed ciro greeting style😂😂😂
I was hoping you'd give us the Price too Ciro.
Great video, cool rig!
Nice video and vehicle. There’s a lot of kit there, where are the door arm rests from in the cab?

The cost must be eye watering

Great setup! Would you please mind sharing what brand is the rearview mirror camera? Thx
Curb your enthusiasm Ciro! I wonder how much that setup costs?
this is awesome
Very nice
Too many features though
Nice
Great setup. Where did you get the door elbow rest?
How much of the 1000kg payload is left for passengers? And why do need a shower cubicle in the the middle of nowhere.
Shower cubicle is for in case when there's other vehicles on the trip also - and you're not a nudist...
The whole build setup is even more expensive than my old house
Am gonna get one of these Wow this is piece of work
Really cool setup.
WOW WOULD LOVE TO HAVE ONE
hello Americans these is proudly South Africa 🇿🇦
HI, i ve got alu-cab canopy camper on a 2021 hilux here in the uk, was interested to know where i could purhcase the rear veiw camera bracket to use with the oem hilux camera

"Plenty of space for your activities..." - Ciro 2021
Where can I buy the armrest for the window/door and the small table like for the dashboard? Thanks
I love it
Change is good
Super cool Bakkie!!! What's the Price Ciro ? I'm also afraid to know lol...
Anywhere I can find that window arm rest?
Imagine what you could do with a single cab rig?!🤔
Supercab is my ideal set up
What is the kerb weight now?

"no coffee here" 🤣
Great vid
Wow this is amazing. I'd be a bit scared with our crime rate though.
There's no crime in the Bush.
Your not going to camp in Hillbrow with the thing.... Kalahari baby
Hey how to make your armrest please
12:12 where can i get that? thts very cool
The water tanks could be placed lower for a better center of gravity I think. Just my opinion.

Very lekker. Get camping Ciro

What would be great is if you went on an actual camping trip to show how practical and awesome it is. (I know camping isn’t your thing) LOL
R1m + setup, all the bells and whistles, "extreme" overlander and the first thing to break with be the R20 plastic steps from PiknPay 🤣🤣
Anyone know what rims are on this?
What's the tire size?
Does anyone know the name/manufacturer of the Rims/Mags?
Bantwana bo Nyazi niyabona😍 imoto yomhlangano?
iyona impela yokuya eKhenana leh
Ciro, I think you like simplicity 😅
how much does this set up cost?
It's clear this was built by avid overlanders. Its the little details that stand out. That can crusher👌
Take a nap. I doubt you know a hilux. Just hate it ... that ok, but don't ridicule yourself with assumptions. You can't be talking about moose test on the new hilux 🚶♂️🚶♂️

Niceee. But how much does it cost?

Looks amazing.
What was the total build cost?
Anyone know?
A few kidneys i imagine :)
Price?
Woow!
Rewelacja :)
i think a single cab would provide a much better setup than the double cab
How match the complète kit for Hilux.
You haven't a winch in the front of the véhicule
How can You compare this to a hotel?
You can’t drive a hotel
2024 Tacoma trailhunter but in a budget version
I see a bear , where is Goldilocks ? It should come with a Hilux lol
Just need a MTB
safe from large animals? I reckon a leopard or lion could jump into that
First like
Nice!
Price for setup
Just missing a price. Lol

Lodges in the outback?
เห็นมีขายในไทยเกือบล้านหลังคาอะไรแพงเกินจริง
Complicated
