Fourth Of July! Montrose Event, Fireworks and a new Turtle template! Today is Day 186 of the Metal Relic video challenge! The script is mine, the voice is AI's.
We started the day off at the Montrose event where we needed to be setup by 8am. It lasted until 4pm and it was hot! The town was bustling with people. There was a 5k and a 10k race as well as a parade. Thank you to everyone that came out and visited us! Your support is required to keep this thing going.
The festivities ended again in Montrose for the fireworks. Enjoy the poor phone footage.
The next milestone for another rose giveaway is 5,000 followers on TikTok.
So I decided to roll right into the next project. I needed a new turtle shell template. This was one of those food warming tray holders which happens to be perfect for what I need.
I broke out the sandbag and ended up not realizing that the camera kept moving away from view with each and every hit. You can see the old one which has a few burn holes in it from the turtles of the past.
I end up marking the areas where the nuts are centered so I can trim it using the bandsaw. Looks good to me. Follow along and you'll get to see it in use during the next video.
