Mozaico Flamenco: Mini-Documentary Katalina Cruz on Vancouver Flamenco, Solea por Bulerias
Katalina Cruz is a British-Canadian flamenco dancer and well-known cuadro artist in the city of Vancouver, BC, Canada. In this mini-documentary Katalina talks about her journey in this art form, with tidbits about learning the dance, about the scene and her view of the future. She dances Solea por Bulerias, a feisty cante jondo song form.
Mozaico Flamenco is documenting our traditional Cuadro repetoire in our Pop Up Series on this youtube channel. A Cuadro is a flamenco group that includes flamenco dancers, singer, guitarist and palmas handclapping.
