Your videos are so informative and real. I just thought I was going crazy and now I know I have feelings not unlike others. You also validated that what I am experiencing is actually true. An example being "Intimacy Anorexia". I thank you.

My ex husband has intimacy anorexia. I suffered with him for 30 yrs. He is stoic to boot or maybe that’s a part of it.

I was a Virgin when I got married and didn't know anything about Women or relationships. After we got married. My wife explained to me. That women are different than men and they're not actually physically attracted To Men. I found this really depressing, and after that I wasn't hardly able to have sex anymore. I feel like men want to be desired just as much as women. But.
There's really been no research into it that I know of. Everyone said I needed to get over it. And I tried to, but we've been married. 11 years now and It's only gotten worse. I can't hardly stand for her to see me with my clothes on let alone have sex. She doesn't know why I don't want intimacy. And Wonders if , I might be cheating. I don't know how to explain the way I feel to her. Do other men feel the same way or do I have a problem?

I hear you and I want to understand more of what you’re feeling and why. I have similar circumstance but not exactly the same. First off let me share my opinion of what I believe to be true. Her telling you that woman do not find men attractive is a lie. My gut tells me she told you this to prevent intimacy with you. We all intuitively know that to build intimacy with a person you must at some point praise or express admiration to them. If it’s romantic everyone know it is important or beneficial to show your desire towards them. If someone does not do this while knowing this, it is deliberate and according to Doug Weiss intentional. The daunting question is why. He basically explains why a person might. Let me also add attraction and desire is mental emotional and spiritual rather than physical. I’m not denying ppl don’t have the temporal physical desires or attractions to each other. We do but like I explain it’s temporary then it’s dissipates rather quickly. What’s left is the other types of desires or attraction spiritually emotional mental. If you’ve been married for over a decade and this has been the sentiment from the onset until now then without a doubt your spouse is purposefully trying to keep you at arms length away. Tell me does you wife initiate any form of intimacy with you that it deep or satisfying or sustained?

Some of this is good but doesn't it invalidate your real feelings

    • @marshareed1438

The video validated my feelings bcz I had never known a man like my ex husband.
My ex of 30 yrs drove me crazy! He came across so nice but he sexually rejected me from the day that we said our wedding vows & that lasted until we got divorced.
He controlled me that way so he could feel in control. He told me before we filed for divorce that he ruled me! He used God’s word to control me. So add religion to intimacy anorexia it’s a lot worse!
