Great video - you are master of breaking down a topics to pieces and building up toward complete solution - rare talent.
One question: would it be possible to use GETPIVOTDATA function inside pivot table?
For instance in your example, adding another column that woutld calculate % of sales made by each sales person (eg Grace's Sales/Total Sales)?
Thanks again
Thanks a lot
Thanks. You solved a big problem for me. I was currently doing it manually.
👍

Thank you!
Thanks for this tut as always !!! I have a question: Is there an app for android that connects to a google sheet to save data from the cell phone ? thanks !!!!
HI thanks for the very helpful video. I have one Question. Is there a way to get values entered by user in google form programmatically without submitting the form?
No.
Very interesting function. Thanks so much for the great explanation.
I have a question: is it possible to group by day of the month even if I don't have data on some days of the month?
I would like to have all the days of the month visible in the rows even if I have no data for that day.
Thanks and see you next
Not directly in the pivot table, but you could make a pivot table that doesn't have those days visible because there's no data and then make another grid where you list all the days & simply use getpivotdata function to grab the days available.
@@ExcelGoogleSheets Thanks a lot for useful tip
Hi, Now that Google sheet drop-down is updated. I am not able to paste comma separated values in the drop-down list. Is it still possible?
Hello, This comment may be off topic from this video, but the some of the videos of similar topic were from years ago and wasn't sure if my comment would be seen. I have to say, I love your videos, very clear explanations and professional done. Thanks for making them.
Any suggestion on how to replace this method of searching a cell with sentence like title of different words, from a list of specific words in a range to be searched?
=IF(ISERROR(FIND("T-Shirt",A2)),IF(ISERROR(FIND("T Shirt",A2)),IF(ISERROR(FIND("Button Up",A2)),IF(ISERROR(FIND("Jumper",A2)),IF(ISERROR(FIND("Sweater",A2)),IF(ISERROR(FIND("Snow Jacket",A2)),IF(ISERROR(FIND("Jeans",A2)),IF(ISERROR(FIND("Jacket",A2)),IF(ISERROR(FIND("Pants",A2)),IF(ISERROR(FIND("Shorts",A2)),IF(ISERROR(FIND("Leggings",A2)),IF(ISERROR(FIND("Dress",A2)),IF(ISERROR(FIND("Blouse",A2)),IF(ISERROR(FIND("Polo",A2)),IF(ISERROR(FIND("Skirt",A2)),"","Skirt"),"Polo"),"Blouse"),"Dress"),"Leggings"),"Shorts"),"Pants"),"Jacket"),"Jeans"),"Snow Jacket"),"Sweater"),"Jumper"),"Button-Up"),"T-Shirt"),"T-Shirt")
~Thanks

Looks like a VLOOKUP problem. What exactly is this formula doing?

@@ExcelGoogleSheets Shared a link to example.
We have item specifics that get dictated or entered into a cell. The formula pulls out the word/s and they then eventually get added to a template to upload. It works but a pain to edit for a different item specifics. ~Thanks
Nevermind. Found a solution, this formula:
=INDEX(SizeR,MATCH(TRUE,ISNUMBER(SEARCH(Size,A2)),0))
Thanks
In my google sheet getpivotdata is not working
