- Nike Hypervenom remake football boots - should you buy them? Introduced in 2013, the Nike Hypervenom Phantom 1 is one of the most beloved football boots in the last 15 years due to its thin and soft upper and barefoot-like feel on the ball - and ever since the Hypervenom was retired, football players have been asking for a Hypervenom 1 remake. Now it's here - kind of - in the shape of the Nike Phantom Vision 2 with the Hypervenom 1 design applied to it in what can easily be called the Nike Hypervenom Phanton Vision 2 Elite. A fantastic looking design on a good football boot - but should Nike have done like adidas and given us an actual remake instead?

"The OG HV is lighter and more nimble on the ball" OOOOOOOF. That's a stinging indictment of the current PhantomVSN. I know part of it comes down to that fact that the OG HV were that good but still. Brutal.
Well to be fair the OG Hypervenom is one of the most barefoot-like boots I’ve ever worn, so it’s actually not meant as THAT harsh of a critique. I like the VSN2, but it’s just not a Hypervenom 1. It’s more stable, has better lockdown and grip, so it’s different to me. /Jay

The OG Hypervenom was simply the best, most comfortable boot I’ve worn. The only con about it was that they tore super easily.
i wish nike brings them back, never had the chance to own these but played with them once and they were the best till date

I remember when these came out during the build up to the World Cup. The hype around them was huge and me being young at the time was swept up in it.

Today I found a none used pair of Hypervenom Neymar liquid diamonds on eBay and purchased them ASAP! The Hypervenom phantom was and will always be my favorite football boot. Glad I could get myself a pair

The OG Hypervenom was the boot I dislocated my ankle in...it probably had nothing to do with the boots but after that I never wore them again
soubido I got injured almost three months ago from someone slide tacking into my ankle. Still recovering. I was wearing my brand new spanking new all white superflys. I hope I wear them soon.

The Phantom Vision remakes remind me of the take down Hypervenom Phelon from back in 2013, they just look cheap in my opinion. I’m glad I still have a pair of OG hypervenoms and this video makes me appreciate them more!

100% agree with what u’ve just said, please remake the og venom properly nike. its just weird putting the og venom on vision, just put it back on phantom venom. plus the cutting and plating are more similar between og venom and phtm venom.
