well for one thing you should have used the same color imposing and paint or The Same color glue as your imposing. I use food color in my clear glue it works better whatever imposing I use like red I use red food color it Works great
Although, so far, I’m not a fan of the embossing as I can’t get it to look like I think it should. Anyway, I bought a gallon of Amazon clear glue as it was much cheaper then all of the others. Yea that makes me wholly committed to flocking now. I’ve tried it full strength and didn’t work well. I diluted it which worked better but I still get a bunch that doesn’t stay on. The experiment continues but I don’t think it’s the glue, it’s the operator learning the methodology
You should have painted the plastic black 1st then used the black embossing powder to do it right. To get a good cover you must use the same flat paint as the embossing powder and to make it not look like shag you pat it down with your finger.
Here is 1 tip for you instead of using paper towels to catch the excess . use greaseproof or baking sheets to catch it that way you dont lose any excess because it slips right off and does not leave any in the fibres like it will on paper towels
Very nice test. It was interesting to see how the different methods worked out. It is nice to see how the original stuff was the best. Thanks for sharing.
