I'm American, and the death of Toriyama saddened me, too. Even before Toriyama died, I would always look into interviews that he did, and I loved learning about the man he was. To my knowledge, he had an incredible work ethic. He was also responsible not just for Dragon Ball, Dr. Slump and Sand Land, but also the character designs in Dragon Quest and Chrono Trigger. He will be very much missed by everyone around the world who was a fan of his work. Also, even though I'm American, I've always preferred the Japanese version of Dragon Ball as opposed to the English version. I love the music in the Japanese version of Dragon Ball, and this song is one of my favorites.
