Cool I’ve been waiting for this one I’ve bred many species of lycaenid in the past European large copper brown and black hairstreak holly blue etc I love rearing them they develop so fast I’ve managed to start a wild colony of brown hairstreak on a large area of blackthorn which is on our property this is a rare butterfly in the uk the andraconial patch on the forewing is a new one for me I’ve seen it plenty of times on the hind wing of larger species it shows you never stop learning you certainly have some amazing species in Florida’s I’m afraid our native species are very depleted and it’s difficult to any species in the wild nowadays please keep go in with the videos they are brilliant exactly what interests me I’m baffled why you don’t have more subscribers and views👍👍👍

Your camera work has gotten crazy good! I love the macro shots David. Have you ever seen the French movie “The Butterfly?” You and the family might like it a lot. It’s a sweet story :)
