Liquid Wallpaper Can Be Applied In Seconds

- Опубліковано 16 сер 2020
- Silk Plaster is a liquid wallpaper that doesn't require matching prints at the seams like traditional wallpaper. It's made up of a combination of cotton fibers, decorative mineral additives, and adhesive glue. To apply the wallpaper, add water to the dry mixture, then spread it onto the walls or ceilings using a trowel. The wallpaper comes in over 100 colors and can be easily patched for repairs.

Liquid Wallpaper Can Be Applied In Seconds - Навчання та стиль
"You dony have to line up pictures like traditional wallpaper"
Well yeah that's cause there are no pictures, just the paint equivalent of glitter glue
You have to paint all your pictures yourself... imagine doing that without a sliver of artistic skill
But at least it comes off with warm water 🙃
@@bipo819 that's the downside buddy with enough humidity and heat your walls would be dripping
Not everyone likes pictures on their walls. Liquid wallpaper still has some structure, different colors and color combinations. I used this material at home and I‘ve never regretted. My home looks beautiful and stylish.
how about you just... paint your walls and stop complaining?
Who wants glitter walls like
and there it is. "Wet the area with warm water to remove" So with enough heat and humidity, your walls will drip or become tacky. no thanks.
I was just thinking that, prob not the best for very warm humid areas like Texas or LA. So northerers only "wallpaper" great 👍
I was wondering that like what about really humid areas not cool
It looked like they used some sort of finishing sprey. Im geussing the spray makes it water resistant
I was just thinking that, but what if there was an accident. Kids are very clumsy and messy, getting water on a wall? Simple.
@@nicemuse1956 it wouldn't even work in North, we don't live in cold homes we warm them up and without humidity our skin becomes dry. soeee useless wallpaper

"liquid wallpaper"
My first thought: isn't that paint?
Nope. Paint is actually easy to apply, you just brush (or roll) it on.
This stuff requires a trowel and the perfect amount of pressure applied. To much and you have the wall showing through, not enough and you have big lumps.
@@rachmae4180 Yes. I paint, I'm quite aware what there is. Would you want to do an entire wall with a palette knife? and this stuff isn't oil paint, it's MUCH more coarse and thick. 😳😳😳😳
@@YouDontKnowAsMuchAsYouThinkUDo
Well, no. A hose would be far too much. You'd get painter's plastic (drop sheets) to cover the flooring near the walls and some old towels under the plastic to catch any water seeping under.
The "wallpaper" absorbs the water though which is why you're spraying it, to make it wet again.
Probably the easiest way would be to rent a steamer but, barring that option, get a spray bottle and spray the heck out of a square foot area and then leave it for 5 minutes and spray another area. Then you take a plastic scraper and just scrape it off the wall and drop it on the drop sheets or in a trash bag. Just like applying it, it's going to take a while to scrape all of it off and some of the glitter might stay stuck to the wall. Depending on the paint under this stuff, it might need new paint after.
And no, it's not environmentally friendly. Wallpaper isn't either. Neither are most paints. You'll be throwing away a lot of plastic you used to protect the floor as well as a bucketful of this stuff which is made of cotton.
According to their website, you just wet the area and scrape it off. Just put down a painter's tarp first to catch the scrapings.

i started my wall today hope to finish by christmas !! are you joking applying this 4 inches at a time then smoothing it over im assuming while its just been applied so you cant even really work in large sections the hell with this crap. and the real joke is to say its saves the "tedious work" or lining up wallpaper wtf yes why cover 2 feet by 10 feet in one swipe when you could just apply jello thick paint inch by inch
@Aiyaluna Yourke Creating complicated images with what looks like neon almond butter, seems a lot harder than just waiting a few hours.
@Aiyaluna Yourke So just wait a few hours every layer for it to dry? I'd rather have a nice mural on my wall than something that looks like a kindergarten drawing. One layer of this sludge seems hard af to make into an intricate piece of art. At least with paint I can start over or just cover it up without pulling chunks of this stuff off.
@Aiyaluna Yourke wallpaper comes with designs already on it so problem solved lol
@Aiyaluna Yourke and paint blends alot better when its wet you dont have to come back bob ross slaps color to canvas one right after the other :)
"Comes off with warm water"
Uhm. Somebody clearly never watched Spongebob before coming up with sprinkling something in their paint.
I like it, the blue one reminds me of the Jazz cup wave. Paired it up with some pink and purple for a vaporwave theme yeeeee
Imagine walking in someone's house just to find out their wall looks disgustingly like a scrambled egg
Edit: VOMITED scrambled egg
Yeah so easy, but you know what’s even easier? You don’t have to mix it with water, you don’t have to get glue on your hands, and you can do all the designs you want! It’s this amazing stuff called PAINT 😂
Looks like the cinema floors when it doesn't have the carpets
How come you saw a cinema floor naked?????!!1!1!1!1!!???
true!! reminds me of the lobby part where they sell snacks before the actual theatre part
i actually like it a lot!! i think it can look nice and it seems fun to apply
You can really get creative with it, awesome.👍🏻👍🏻
