- Laser interstitial thermal therapy (LITT) is a minimally invasive treatment for epilepsy. This procedure targets the area of the brain where seizures start with a device called a probe. The probe emits heat to destroy the cells causing the seizures.

That is so good! I thought having such a procedure done would get you off medication?
I had this done in 2018 and it failed I still have seizures.

It sucks when you were supposed to have it for your inoperable brain tumour, but then they realize since it’s in the hippocampus it will make your life worse- like your memory, learning, emotions will all be trash. So, hurray for those it helps 🫠😕
