For the oscillation, I would recommend maybe putting a little grease in the neck pivot. Also check the big driven gear drives the oscillator arm. Sometimes a dropper two of oil will freeze those up. What you have happening seems like a bind.

The thing that sucks with these blades is you can’t bend them. Since they’re made out of an acrylic they are very fragile.
