Sailing Hobie Trifoiler 41 in Sarasota Bay, on Nov 11th, 2012. A couple was riding their bikes around City Island when they noticed Peter's & my Hobie Trifoiler sailboats sitting on the beach. Peter TF#166 and I get the same comments every time we take our boats out...
We've never seen a boat like this, what is it called, is it a prototype, who makes it?...
The conditions that day were perfect for two people, and they seemed nice enough. The couple was shocked when I ask, "Who want's to go for a ride?"
I think Kathy had a good ride! Judge for yourself and watch the look on her face when I pull 2 G's in a high speed turn, never slowing down. In another video I shot this day, I took Peter's wife Gretchen out. Check out that video too!

I would love to see how fast this would move at the Gorge. Or maybe it couldn't handle the wind there?
