I really love the sound on this one. I'm wondering... how many people here, listening to Foetus, can see sounds? Does anyone else here have Synaesthesia? To me, this song is - drums: light+dark grey, "furry" - weird-sweeping-mechanical-guitar-sound: yellow-beige+white+grey (it could also be dull-blue+dark-grey instead), "staircase", "hammocked" - organ: pale yellow or white+grey, "tall-peaks" of multiple vertical lines, with breaks and/or "scales" running down each "line" - I'm gonna take a break there, I'm procrastinating at work
Well, it is quite rare. Like the other two early 7" singles and the first 12" EP. Luckily I have bought them all many years ago for relatively fair prices.@@shropshirecca5108
It is the actual, original version. Later re-recorded for the Wash/Slog 12". Unfortunately the first three Foetus singles and the first 12" EP are quite rare and are not available an CD yet. But JGT promised to re-issue this early stuff someday.

Awesome! I didn't know this version existed. I love it!
I remember the first album from 81. I loved it. It is wonderful to hear it again. Brilliant noise
This was the version I had in ‘81-thanks for uploading!
More passion than the whole of the current Top 100 combined. Fabulous memory, thanks John Peel. This is the version I have on 7".
The cheapest copy of that on Discogs is now £60. I have the later Wash/Slog 12".
@@DonnachaDeLong I have the original 7" - bought the weekend after the great John Peel played it. Can't comprehend it goes for that much!

Love this version. Heard it years ago but it was removed from UA-cam and been looking for it since. Cheers for the upload!
Not heard this version before. He should have a reissue of his early period.
Holy crud, I had no clue that this version of Wash It All Off existed.
Thanks for uploading this version, dude-a-rino.
