Ma'am how did you find h?
h or the class size is found by subtracting the lower limit value from upper limit value of any class interval...for example for a data 0-3,3-6,6-9,9-12........ Take any class interval say 3-6, subtract 3 from 6, we get 3 ....that's the class size or h value
Pls let me know if you have any questions...
The difference between the upper limit and lower limit is h
Thank you mama you saved my 3 marks 🙏

Thank you mam for explanation of step deviation method
Most welcome!! Really so glad that you found the video useful!! 😊😊👍👍
Mam here you have odd number of rows so u can assume middle one but if i have only 6 row which one to assume as a=????
Yes,that scenario will arise if there are even number of rows....for example if there are 6 rows, and the xi values are say, 15,25,35,45,55,65 then you can either choose assumed mean as 35 or 45....your choice.... pls let me know if you have any questions...
Mam you are wonderful teacher ❤
Thank you so much for the wonderful feedback... really means a lot to me!!😊😊👍👍👍

Isnt the formula a+summation of fiui/n??
For step deviation the formula is
Mean = a+(Sigma fiui/n)*h
Pls let me know if you have any questions..
1 👍👍👍👍
Thank you so much!! 😊😊👍👍👍
you should divide xi-a by 4 not by 5 to find ui
@@rachitmishra99 Here the class size h is 5 ,not 4,because these are inclusive class intervals...so we need to include lower limit and upper limit value too, 101,102,103,104,105....5 of them ,so h is 5.. pls let me know if you have any questions....
I don't understand 121-125=4 why add 1
121-125 is not subtraction of 125 from 121...it denotes the class interval whose lower limit is 121 and upper limit is 125. So we usually write the class interval as 121-125.
The 5 is obtained by subtracting 118 from 123
Pls let me know if you have any questions....
@@EnjoyMath mam i didn't understand this concept
Pls let me know what is your specific doubt...will try my best to help you out ..
It is formula
101-105 me to "h" ka value to 4 na hoga
Yeh inclusive class interval hai, isliye dono lower limit aur upper limit values ko bhi include karna hai, 'h' ka value calculate karne ke liye....isliye 101,102,103,104,105....5 observations hain...isliye h = 5...
Pls let me know if you have any questions...
😢😢😢
Pls let me know if you have any doubts...will try to help...
Mam how did you find h?
Here we have inclusive class intervals,so both lower limit value and upper limit value are included in each class interval,so h= upper limit value - lower limit value + 1.
For exclusive,
h= upper limit value - lower limit value, because upper limit value is excluded, but for inclusive,we add 1 because upper limit value is included
So here h= 105-101+1=5
Pls let me know if you have any questions...
Thank you mam
