Can someone please tell me while choosing the assumed mean from even numbers ( like in the video from the 6 mid values ma'am has chosen 50 as assumed mean.. if there are 5 mid values we will choose the 3rd one keeping two numbers upside and downwards as assumed mean right ? Now some one can you please tell me why 50 is taken here not 60 or not 40? Pls pls I am so confused .... I know to choose the AM in odd number series but get confused while choosing from even numbers

Because the negative values are not the same value as of positive value of the same number. Check the number line. 5 and -5 are two different values. When no sign is mentioned the number is taken as positive only.
