Not really. VE and The Might Eighth are completely different... I read the website and they have a 30 mission campaign from April 44 to August? In the Mighty Eighth you could fly however many missions you want, each one is different and you can fly from late 1943 all the way up to a few months before the wars end... yeah interesting game and I'll for sure check it out but in NO WAY will I let VE and The Mighty Eighth be seen as the same game or VE seen as the 'successor' two different games, not calling either bad. Just saying your statement can never happen.
Please consider making props invisible / barely visible when flying, leave only the round prop arks. You physically don't see props in flight, they can only be somewhat captured on film, but with naked eye they are invisible, especially props painted black. It is important for VR especially, so that it also wouldn't create re-projection problems. Kudos for such huge undertaking though!
Wow thank goodness for you to provide a piece of our cities one of our greatest treasures that provided the allies a tool to help defeat tyranny during the Second World War. Bravo. Great job.
Coming out of breifing, Get into our Kites, Down the F***ing runway, And off in to the night, We've left the flarepath far behind, It's f***ing dark but never mind, We're pressing on regardless, For the Wingco's DFC... I can't wait for this sim if done right..
I think I speak for a huge majority of people looking at this game: this looks really good, but I hope that working with the Epic engine doesn't lead to this game becoming an exclusive held hostage on the Epic Store. We're all rooting for you and your team Andrew, keep it up.
I would buy it direct off Xi Jinping if it was a good title and he didn't rip off the devs to the tune of 30%. I still remember when steam was a pos monopoly foisted on us by HL2. But I can't even tell what sort of game this is, sim, crew management or other.
@@Drifter-fx4pn Game design-wise, we're going to strike a balance between simulation and arcade. Flying 10 hour missions to Stettin might be incredibly realistic, but may not be fun to most. Each crew role will be played either by a human or AI character. We'll have a gameplay video to come soon!
@@valianteffort7034 I'm interested in how you plan to condense the time...are you going to make the world smaller, or (hopefully) do like Silent Hunter or Flightsim and offer time acceleration? I feel like if you just made the world smaller, it would end up being hokey.
Finally! A possible successor of B17 the Mighty 8 !
You got that right!

Beautiful initiative and tremendous job guys! I am a fan!
Great to have found this! My Grandad flew with 419 Moose Squadron. I was amazed to read your page on D-day when he was on KB727 as wireless operator.
Would love to know what’s happening with the game now, guessing it’s still to going to be included in the new Mighty Eighth game?
Ive been waiting for a game like this for ever. Cant wait to play this one. really like the attention to authenticity you are striving to attain.

Thank you for the kind words! We hear and share your sentiments. Our business objective is to get the game on as many PC platforms as possible.
