    Loved when you went through all those shoes - simple and to the point! Now you’ve got me curious about the Hyp Tempo!

      You should be haha! I'm pretty impressed with DNA Flash. Its a nitrogen infused foam that's light, cushioned and responsive, I wish it was on every shoe I own I think. Thanks for the comment too, wasn't sure if the shoe comparison would work or make sense, but I felt it had to be compared to other things to explain why I liked it so much.

    While corona I start to go running last year. Two time in the week I was running in the last months. The lenght was approximately 10 kilometers with hard and soft ground.
    The last few times I got little knee issues. Because I am using old Nike Lunarlon i think with new shoes I could manage this problem.
    Do you have any tips for me?

      Thanks for the comment. I'd day go slow, and take it easy to give you legs time to adjust to varied conditions or new shoes. But old shoes are a typical cause of injuries, once the padding has packed out be careful.

      @@RunRepeatcom Actually I made a longer break and bought the new Brooks Ghost 13. They shall have a good cashioning. But I still have knee issues 🙄
      I already run, slow with small steps and only a short distance of about 2 kilometers. The ground is soft and is made for running.
      That's so frustrating...

    I am a neutral gait midfoot striker who runs like 25 kms a week, with a single longest ride of 10k. Currently using the Nike winflo 6 and have exhausted my miles on them (no material wear on the outsole but since my calves have started to become heavy in 10ks I have a feeling that the midsole has now given up). Having said that, planning to try out Brooks with an 8 mm drop as a part of transitioning to race flats. Confused between the H Tempo, Ricochet 3 and Revel 4. Any advice you can offer? Thanks in advance..

    I'm looking at these to replace my Ghost 12 shoes and had a question for you about the drop. The ghost has a 12mm drop and you listed the 8mm drop as a con, though you did say it was nitpicking. I noticed in your video you land more on your forefoot instead of your heel. Do you think drop matters much if you're not landing on your heel? I also run on my forefoot so i'm curious. to be honest, I'm not versed in the role drop has on a shoe so i'm just trying to gain some more knowledge. I haven't had a problem with my Ghost, just curious if something with more pep might be good for my next shoe.

    Thanks for the vid. Any idea how the fit/sizing compares to New Balance and Asics? I wear 9.5UK in NB but a 9UK in Asics (both also list as 44EU). So was thinking to go size 9 for Brooks?

    Isnt DNA flash and skecher's hyperburst one and the same? Theyre both nitrogen infused, and they in fact look and feel so similar in looks and feel

    • @RunRepeatcom
      @RunRepeatcom  3 роки тому +1

      Ya basically the same. They do look and feel almost identical, which is a good thing since it's awesome. If you've seen any of my Skechers reviews I think they are doing amazing things over there with their HyperBurst midsole, the new Razor 3+ is fantastic, and the Maxroad is too, and so was the Forza! Midsole makes a road shoe. Brooks as a performance running brand needed some inovation, and I think DNA Flash is the real deal!

    Hyperion Tempo or Endorphin Speed?

    • @RunRepeatcom

      Great question, I should do a head to head. Normally I pick Saucony over Brooks on similar models, this is a hard call, but I have to say I personally like the Tempo just a touch better on this comparison.

      @@RunRepeatcom I’m just about to get the Tempo’s, and this was the biggest question I’ve had because it seems very split 50/50 from what I’ve read. Think I’m gonna go for the Tempos tho. And then an added bonus in my opinion is how sick they look.
