Yeah, you gotta be careful backing out. If it doesn't index the threads on the way out, it'll cut a new one backing out. I go really slow backing out to make sure they index correctly if I need to use the deburr/countersink feature. Since there is rarely a burr that requires countersinking in my application, I just stop on the way in before the tap disengages the newly cut threads but is done cutting and back out. Never had an issue that way.
thanks for the video man, you gotta new sub for sure. I'm a Milwaukee guy 4 life love em! I appreciate the vids though, looking forward to watching more of them. I just bought the same set so I searched for a vid on them and yours came up. take care brother
He is a bad he don't know how to us a drill or lining up his hand he mess the last two hole up himself. You don't have to put alot of pressure on the bit let the drill do it's job.

Thank you!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
You drill in the slower gear for metal so they don't over heat the tip
Thank you for that👍🏻👍🏻
When I use mine like that they snapped in half so I figure I drill a hole first then use the tapped bit
Slow that drill down she was about 1000 RPMs too fast!
exactly.
Pilot holes need to be enlarged accordingly to screw size . User error
I was blowing the whole video trying to get them metal flakes off😩
Lol!
Great video. Subscribed. Now I’m going do the responsible thing and watch the SAE video 🥸
Mill walk eeeeee....... cool stuff !!!
Would have been nice if Milwaukee made regular spiral taps instead of combination.
I’m not sure why they don’t...great point👍🏻
Do you have to drill pilot hole?
No you do not
Quite impressed.....would drill a larger pilot hole forM8 and M10 ....great video...
Thank you 👍🏻
Hold the driver straight
Bigger the bit the bigger the pilot
Is that piece Aluminum or Steel?
Steel
Why don't you use cutting oil?
You sure could...good call. The advertising from Milwaukee doesn’t mention that at all but, good point!

You are right. I had very little experience with this type of tool back then. Thank you for the comment.
