I came across your video from the algorithm suggesting it. I've written a book called The Definition of Free Will & A Model of Attention. The thesis is that the definition of free will is the ability to control the focus of your attention. I've created a novel model of attention from a holistic perspective to describe and explain this thesis. If you are interested, I would love to send you a copy of the pre publication version for your review with any feedback, criticism, or insights being greatly appreciated. Please let me know and I can coordinate a way to get it over to you.

Speaking and moving your hands while speaking is an example of dividing attention. A certain amount of focal energy is required to move your hands and there is a certain amount of focus required to speak the words - both through the kinesthetic channel on the external field. You are also engaging the visual channel to a degree but not as much. But your attention is also partially focused internally on formulating the words to speak. I proposed there is a specific focal energy distribution pattern in any given moment where we have a certain amount of our total pool of available focal energy distributed in different portions to different channels on the internal and external field of attention
