NATO didn’t invade Ukraine - Russia did. Sovereign countries are entitled to join any international organisation or political or economic bloc they choose without getting Putin’s blessing! The Kremlin propaganda trope about NATO “expanding East as provocation of Russia is utter nonsense as anyone with half a brain would realise. NATO has not “expanded” by invading countries (unlike Russia) but by accepting countries who want to join.

Something to think about: we heard almost nothing about cancer deaths until after the times of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki atomic bombs, the nuclear testing out west, several nuclear plant explosions in 3 countries, nuclear plant waste being trucked to be buried deep in the northwest, now stored on sites, I believe, nuclear submarines sunk to the bottom of oceans, recently reported nuclear waste storage contaminating water (I forget what state, but reported about not cleaned up just a day or 2 ago...and yet everyone claims there is nothing to worry about, and cheers on a nuclear war....People have gone completely NUTS, (as long as it is somebody else they think will be bombed, not them).
