You two have a good chemistry together... that mixes very well with your experience and knowledge of fragrances and translates very well to the rest of us walking down memory lane with you. I find myself agreeing or arguing with you audibly as if we're sitting in a pub having a beer and a discussion LOL... Looking forward to Future installments!

Great video guys! Costing me more money. Great shout on 'A Few Good Men' Chris - in my top 10 films of all time and one of the best screenplay's ever!!
But, what an excellent video! The 90s were the best decade of my life. I am currently 50 years old and the memories of that time have always been with me. I used most of the fragrances presented here, and Safari, Booster, Platinum Egoiste and Acqua di Gio are still part of my rotation today. Thank you very much for bringing some memories of this fantastic and nostalgic time. 💯🔝👌🏻
Hey guys, nice list!! You mentioned one of my all time favs Havana!!! I’m sad you left out my all time fav over all and the most classy and elegant of them all Opium pour home by YSL. Also Gucci Envy a masterpiece was left out too!!! Thx for this video, remember is like living again!!!
Discovered Minotaure which became my signature scent with Jazz for a couple of decades. I also purchased bkue jeans versace and Issey Miyake. Because of Minotaure I didn't care to discover more fragrances in the 90's
The Aramis Gentleman's Collection is spectacular. They're all listed as EDCs but they have amazing performance, or at least Havana and New West do. So far Platinum Egoiste is probably in my top two, maybe just barely getting beat out by Gucci Envy. I love both of those so much and it's nice to see PE getting some love at least!
Excellent stuff👍🏻 you gotta do the 70s now. I have a love/hate relationship with the 90s.. yes there were some stunning scents amongst the dreck(Fuel, Bugatti, Vendetta, Feeling Man, Egoiste, Havana, Safari etc) But it was a time of transition as the big hitting manly powerhouses of the 80s were being superseded by a sea of aquatics and airy fairy ozonic and unisex scents😬
Yeesssssssssssss!! I actually have the La Rive clone of Active Bodies called Athletic Man and can confirm its amberiness. Pine, oakmoss and labdanum is basically what you get. Soapy to the last. Here's to Dutch courage! 🍻
Deep blue something...great one...I'd add-Suede-she's in fashion,The Verve-bitter sweet symphony, and brilliant New radicals-you get what you give...thanks for remembering our War...yes,it was a very hard time to us, Croatians. And yes,do please visit our beautiful seaside.I know Chris already have.
Its interesting that max chose by man and d&g pour homme for 2 out of 5 of his 90s top 5 as well. I love d&g pour homme but never tried by man. Gotta get my nose on that bad boy! -Ramsey
I completely get it when he says Tommy Hilfiger reminded him of Friends tv sitcom...Versace Uomo reminds me of Beverly Hills 90201 and Melrose Place ; MTVs downtown Julie Brown comes to mind as well
So enjoyable to watch and listen to you guys :) Great choices and thanks for the recollection of events from the 1990's. Please make this collaboration as a regular content on your channel.
Yet again my comments vanishing I'm not that offensive lol! In fact as well as bitching abut the amount of ads at the start I gave you both a mega compliment :)
I enjoyed every one of these choices and I don't know that anyone could have chosen such a vast different array from the 90s to show just how that decade progressed. They are all well loved and remembered. I was a little surprised that the first of all aquatics was not even mentioned and I know Chris has done a presentation on it Kenzo Pour Homme!
Really Really Nice review you guys i loved it...Very informational...I hope to see more of you too together because it really really works as far as keeping it interesting and just fun to watch...Thanks so much............
Hey Dan. Love the channel , why don’t you consider looking into rating perfumers on their work across houses. You can do a short Bio and then rate their particular work even mention if you think that any one perfumer has any particular stylings or use of favorite materials. I not only like certain houses but love looking into the work the perfumer themselves have done. I have my favorites! Who are yours.
@27:35 The rarely-being-recommended Guinness seem to been the most interesting and valuable choice back from the 90´s. And as far as I have heard after applying it several times it your skin quality will have improved. But watch out for the only original version from Dublin. You can get 500 ml for a special price then.
Boss No. 6 would definitely be on there for me. The original in the two-toned granulated grey box without the word bottled on there. In fact it didn't say No.6 on there either, just Hugo Boss, so everyone just referred to it as Hugo Boss. Strange. Heritage from Guerlain definitely another biggy.
Wow soccer really is followed and viewed as football / basketball here. Its probably the 5th most popular team sport behind baseball and Hockey. I always played LaCrosse in the spring that was more fun for me than soccer / baseball. Do they have baseball and LaCrosse in EU?
It was such a great video! Can we get “90s part 2” before everything else, please? Because there’s a looot of going on in that decade, so many groundbreaking fragrances was released. For me as a collector my favs is: Gianni Versace Versus Uomo D&G Pour Homme (with a sticker, of course) Trussardi Uomo P.S. that punchline bottle of Versace The Dreamer Millenium Edition - oh, ok, now I’ve got a new problem for my wallet 😎
@@MrSmelly1977 Oh no, my bad, I’ve did a mistake… i remember video with Persolaise about 90s and I thought you deleted that video and made a new one, but it was Max Forti video. Damn)🤦♂️😅

Yes the original polo sport in the 90s was a great fragrance..I went through about five bottles of the stuff
It was a tremendous pleasure to do this again & more is indeed in the plans!
Thank you so much Chris. Looking forward to the next one.
They have both been brilliant , please do many more together . When you can . Great YouTubing.

George Michael Freedom is the song of the 90s and the videoclip was perfect example of how great was the pop culture in general at the time
Great video guys! Costing me more money. Great shout on 'A Few Good Men' Chris - in my top 10 films of all time and one of the best screenplay's ever!!
I love how Chris chooses such accessible fragrances
These collabs were just superb!

Great video guys! I am a woman in the same age as you. Enjoyed the flashback! Thanks!
Gucci Envy was the best of the 1990's and among the all time greatest of all time.
Agreed! A top 30 is needed to cover anywhere near all the great 90s releases.
Two legends!

I wish you would write the names of the products somewhere. Took me quite a while to realize he was saying Adidas.
You guys rock! Cheers 🍻
1996 bvlgari pour homme is my favorite

What about Carolina Herrera? No body mentioned in 90s.
When i think of the 90s I think of CK one, cool water and the grail Gucci Guilty !
I instantly thought of cool water and ck one as well
Thanks CH. we certainly had to leave it some absolutely great scents to get down to 10
Joop! , Tommy, CK one, Cool Water, yea all great stuff
Hope to see the 60's oder 2000's next :-)
