    We have a Grand Old Lady (34' Airstream Excella 1982) Restored and upgraded. Nothing beats anAirstream!

      We were very surprised at the quality and "hominess" of these Airstream trailers. We are now seriously considering one for our upcoming RV update. Thanks for your post, we love hearing from those who have a great deal of experience with the RV's we review. Happy Travels!

    Back in 2015 we started looking at trailers. Looked at everything for 2 years. Bought a 2017 Airstream International 23D. Nice trailer. Had it 2 years and 24k miles of travel. Sold it for what we paid for it. Bought a 2019 Flying Cloud 25 Rear Bed Twin. Incredible deal. Still have it with over 500 nights in it. Airstream is the only way to go. Your $$$ is safe. They pull better than any SOB (Some Other Brand).

      Thanks so much for posting your experience. We have heard so many people trumpeting the high quality and resale of their Airstream trailers. We are especially partial to the International. We really like those sliding cabinets among other things. Just curious if you prefer the twins over the queen bed as we do.

      @@halffasttravelers2702 Twin beds all the way! Way more storage that is easily accessible. Opens up the floor plan. Room to dress after shower. Really nice cabinet between the beds for lamp, CPAP, etc. Still plenty of room to "Cuddle"!

      Those are some of the main reasons we like that setup as well. Thanks.

    Great video. I love the idea of an Airstream, just not sure it's how I want to camp. I love the looks and styling.

      We know exactly how you feel. We thought we were sure what we wanted, but as we see more and more options, the decision is getting a lot tougher. We do really like the Airstreams though. Thanks for the comment.

    Fun story. We bought the everlasting Gobstopper 27 FBQ Barcelona Blue in this video.

      lol. Everlasting Gobstopper. We like that. We had a preference for the sliding cabinets in the International and the deleted cabinets over the dinette. The Globetrotter had some design elements we really liked as well. Thanks for the laugh.

      @@halffasttravelers2702 Imagine our surprise when we saw our trailer on your video. 🙂 My wife's "vertically challenged." We chose that Globetrotter over the International because the sliding cabinets in the International were not going to work for her.

      Vertically challenged, ha ha. At least the low ceiling in the shower is not an issue.

    Would be interesting to get feedback from anyone who's used both an Airstream and a Living Vehicle trailer.

    The reason Airstreams are popular is because of their reduced airflow around the body. Would you rather get 15 miles per gallon with an Airstream or 12mpg with a square body.

    • @halffasttravelers2702
      @halffasttravelers2702  3 місяці тому

      You make a great point. The downside of the curved body is less room inside, but we found them very cozy and more like a home. Thanks for the comment.

    You didn't show the airstreams with the back bathrooms and the two bedrooms over 30 feet

      Yeah, we were a little disappointed they didn’t have the larger units on the lot. We’ll keep an eye out for those in the future. Thanks for the comment.

      23 foot has the best bathroom and twin beds. That's the one I want.

      @user-hb6tl4nq1m for towing ease etc I would prefer having the 20' or 22'... but I really like and would want that rear hatch/tailgate, and the smallest those come in is apparently the 25'...
      I've gone back and forth in my mind about the twin beds, but I think I like/prefer them... and the east/west bunk above them... 👍🏽

    • @halffasttravelers2702
      @halffasttravelers2702  2 місяці тому

      We also liked the "mid-sized" units, they combine plenty of space while still being relatively easy to tow. We agree that the twin beds are definitely the way to go. We don't really like having to shuffle around the bed, and we're afraid we might break something if we just jump into the bed.
