Please bring this to the United Kingdom! Thank you Edward Snowden and Thank you to all the other Whistle-blowers who risked their lives to give us the truth. Without you the future change would not be possible. We salute and stand with you!!

It is fitting to see this monument in former East Germany where mass domestic surveillance was born. In a sense it is a monument to the Stasi.

a monument to fools, would bee more correct to say, I am a strong supporter of freedom of speech and believe that people must know the truth, but I also know that there are thing that the people must knot know four their safety and protection, wen they blew the whistle they reveled some troubling info, but they also revealed info on how intelligence services operate, that doesn't seems wrong to you, the people must know how they operate, but criminals and terrorists will also know how, and will be able to evade and eliminate intelligence operations meant to prevent terrorists attacks, it will take decades too recover, because tree morons didn't measured the consequences of there actions, they are not heroes, they are fools, the statues are not a monument to freedom but a monument to treason, treason to humanity

+joao soares they revealed to the people where and how the people were literally being lied to, and where the government was not being honest in their role as 'leaders'. Those are the facts, not a knee jerk right wing reaction - and these three men were proven RIGHT. The NSA had to admit they were spying on citizens, and lying about it. What we were reading in the 'media' was proved to be a lie with news coverage video that had been surpressed from 'us'. No military secrets were 'outed' but the liars did not appreciate having their lies revealed to the public.

they are traitor fools not heroes, they did revealed operation manuals on how intelligence agencies operate, and they stupidly did revealed military secrets, you just don't know watt one is, they did more whit there stunt against freedom that for freedom, they are traitors and should be seen as such

+joao soares you are obviously putting the current corrupt gouverment over the people.. congrats mate on losing your sanity as a human beeing. And they did not stunt against the freedom, absolutly not.

    • @troopertitan

that's your opinion not mine, all government's have corruption, some more than others, I am against corruption, that is obvious, I don't put government's over the people the government is the people not does in power, I have not lost my sanity I have maintained it for questioning government's and people, that they whit there action commit treason against humanity they did, they should have weighed the consequences of that and they didn't, fact, they did it for freedom of information I get it but has I said there are things too dangerous for the public to know there are, and they put them out for all even criminals to know, but if you think criminal and terrorist should know how agencies operate to cache them that's you opinion not mine and if you think that you are the one ho lost its sanity

Am ppl were told about being surveiled by our government illegally. We are grateful for that. If you had the facts, you would see that your fear based closed mindedness is exactly what governments who are not transparent with their ppl want. Your words do not apply to this situation, so best to you and your freedoms.
