I use the tight hold on my daughters thick 4c locs and it works sooooo good. This is the only product so far that I’ve tried that doesn’t flake and still provides a great hold.
Also, your locs are beautiful and I love your energy (new subscriber)☺️✨

Hi Sharmel, I just recently became a new subscriber to your Channel and I just started watching the replay of this particular video and I just want to assure you that you've chosen an extremely good product for your retwist. First of all I must say out of all the videos that I watch on locs there are three main UA-camrs that I will stick and stay with hands down. The first two are Jocelyn Renee the Digital Loctition & Yanni THE ONLY LOCTITION. They both approach the phenomenon of locking hair from two different holistic point of views which is to their subscribers to develop the healthiest set of locks. And the third one is Damien Walters. This man right here is off the chain and I mean all three of these extraordinary licensed loctitions know their stuff and are super knowledgeable in this profession. And so I take what I need from each one of them and leave the rest on the shelf to pick up later if need be. Anyway, Damien swears by *Thalia Wajid Tight Hold*. He faithfully uses this in maintaining his clients locs. Every single one of them. And he uses it alongside of a couple of Design Essentials products and a Curl & Loc product in which he developed himself. So he uses this Lock & Curl plus the Talia Wajid Tight Hold side by side with each other in his regiment for his clientele. And I say this because I've practically watched all of his videos and he has blessed a humongous amount of crowns all over the world which he goes on tour to different cities in different salons blessing crowns. You probably have heard of these UA-camrs but if not, I'm sure you do your own due diligence in regards to researching and obtaining your own info. Anyway I've only been locked for 2 years and my lockerversary was just this past Fri, 2 days before my 60th BD. However, I learned to interlock my hair after my initial starter locks and first to retwist maintenance. But if I should ever restart my Traditional Locs for whatever reason, which has been a passing thought btw, I would love them to be a little larger than they are now. Kinda like the size that you be rockin' along with the approach of knowledge that I need. Because I'm not gonna lie. Before beginning my journey, I knew nothing/zero/zilch. Only by trial and error are my locs beginning to flourish and I'm enjoying the ride thus far. I've enjoyed your videos in these last couple of weeks of discovering you and you're such beautiful young lady & I love your bold approach to doing your own hair and trying new things and I know you do your research that's why I bring this little bit of info to you. Keep doing what you're doing and I will continue to roll with you on your journey. God bless!

Hello I love your videos! (Newbie) I got my loc extensions done exactly a week ago can I retwist the front now? It has some new growth. Thank you

I think u s found wait about 3-6 weeks because with a week it’s still fresh . Wait till u get in a lot of new growth. I have natural locs and i always retwist every 2-3 months & with that, it helps prevent thin locs or breakage.

How are your locs doing under the extensions? I want to do a protective style but don’t want to damage my locs.

Loc extensions are considered “permanent” so it’s not really a protective style so to speak. I’m not 100% sure how she attached hers. but as for me and my knowledge, you have to comb out the end of your locs to crochet into a loc extension. So if you don’t have a lot of locs soft locs would b good.

Yes to what the other commenter said. The loc extensions are attached to the ends of my natural locs. So I can care for my locs the same as before

Thanks for sharing! I am two months loc'd and contemplating doing my 2nd retwist myself for the first time. I'm nervous about figuring out how to get the back and middle of my head myself. Any tips?

My biggest piece of advice would be to not overthink it lol. Its definitely a learning curve, but it gets easier the more familiar you become with you hair. I'd also recommend checking out my loc journey playlist, I have quite a view step by step videos of retwisting my locs early in my journey

Yes it works, but sometimes it can get a little too hot and uncomfortable on your scalp.
