  • Welcome, fellow plant lover! Are you ready for a pruning adventure? It was time to prune my Golden Pothos with 16' vines. The weather was getting warmer, & the stems were looking a bit droopy towards the ends. Plus, they had gotten so long that they crept towards the front door!
    Time of pruning: Late April
The tool used: Fiskars Micro Snips (I love these!) amzn.to/3wZx8RX
See how I prune the plant, taking it back by 1/2, plus things good to know.
I hope you find this houseplant pruning tutorial to be helpful! Hugs, Nell

Hey Nell, you could make some self watering moss poles after they grow roots! I'm also in Arizona (the dry land, lol) Mine are doing great! I give them a bottle every few days and it also raises the humidity which we need out here.

Hi Sharon - Oh, interesting! I've seen those, but never used any. I'm giving all the cuttings away, but I'm sure I could use them on another plant. Perhaps my Aglaonema Siam - it's very floppy! Nell

@@JoyUsGarden Nell my lemon lime was in a window and under grow lights it didn't like it so I moved it. The jade was also under grow light bcus I only have low light, my monstera went from large full leaves to small space looking. My marbled jade that's in my kitchen which is lower light is thriving as all my other plants. My space is limited in my kitchen and Soon I will try and hang some in the kitchen. HELP PLEASE?

Hi - I have 2 kitties. 1 has no interest in plants, & the other will chomp a bit on 1 of my crunchy spider plants every few weeks. Fortunately, it's non-toxic! Nell
