Can I just have a thought for my mate who decided to watch this and do a shot every time Lee said “you know what I mean like”, he died peacefully 1 hour ago
BS. Arteta, without star quality attackers (besides Saka) had us scoring more goals than the invincibles last season. Swap Isak for Havertz yesterday and we win comfortably.
We had 6 clear chances to score yesterday and scored 0 goals. Newcastle had 2 clear chances and scored 2. Quality attacking investment and we turn these draws and losses into wins. There is no doubt Arteta will be wanting investment now, regardless of what he says in the press conferences. It's up to the ownership to deliver.
Saying sterling was one of the most embarrassing pieces of business ever but the AFTV twitter was posting “thanks for another one Chelsea” just a few months ago 😂😂😂
50:00 Turkish's sigh when James mentions he doesn't want to come across as toxic, in regards to his criticism on Odegaard is too funny. Im with you Turkish state of this fanbass 😂💯
I spotted that too. I like James but he constantly does this thing of preemptively apologising for saying things when what he ends up saying is utterly timid.
James would be stranded in a desert with no water or food for 3 days and try and force a positive "At least that cactus is thriving!" 😅 man needs to just speak from the heart and not apologise for it
Its called cope pure and simple. They are ignoring what their eyes are telling them to make themselves feel better. If Saka was in black and white with their midfield and forward line they would challenge for the Premier league. Arsenal need more surgery than Newcastle.
I said it last night. Too many of our fans were way too casual about not winning anything last two years when we came close. They just assumed we would keep getting chances. Newsflash-in the modern era, unless you are City, you don't get endless chances. You have to make them count because if you don't, you will stagnate and start to go back. It's the post invincibles era all over. That team of Cesc, RVP etc all started off full of belief. But after a few seasons, they realised Wenger (for all the past glories) was no longer it. And they lost belief. Same here with this group.
Bringing up United as well, their 'banter era' has given them two trophies, beating City and Liverpool in the final and quarter final. In the same time Arsenals 'good era' has 0 trophies. I'm sorry but in 10 years time most people are taking the trophies over the higher league position. If you don't win anything this team will be forgotten before this rubbish United team. Also realistically how much longer do the star players wait before wanting a transfer to Madrid or City?
In our ‘banter era’ we had many trophies alot more than the crap ETH had. Just not the trophies we want though is it. Ill take the league position always its an indication of how good the team actually is. The fact we are improving was good. 8th 5th 2nd is a big leap. Its just that we are stagnating now due to not upgrading the team properly with poor acquisitions and not being proactive enough tactically.
@@Slim2Flo I'm sure you would, people like you always will. Old school fans like me prefer trophies over top 4, always have always will. I'm not saying I'm right and you are wrong but there is a definite mentality difference between people in the fanbase and it is my opinion and many others that this team simply is not as successful as the dross United team. That quarter final match against Liverpool and the final against City will be replayed for years to come, do you think people will be talking about Arsenals 2nd place finishes? Actually yes they probably will as one of them was the worst bottle job in premier league history, leading the table for 90% of the season. I'm sorry but I align a lot more with the realistic fans like Turkish, I'm not going to blow smoke up Mikel for finishing second or Havertz for being a somewhat average player for 65M.
27:56 James talking about Mikel’s mis-profiling of players. He is SPOT ON. This is one of our biggest issues right now. Until Mikel starts getting these basic things right, it won’t matter who we sign, we won’t win anything.
@chrisfraser5088 I remember before isak went to Newcastle, I was thinking he's not world-class, but he's better than Nketiah and whomever we had at the time. Same with kudus, Instead, we went for havertz.
@kwekuosei5268 Yes. Misprofiling. When you have 23 shots with only 3 shots on target and 69% possession whilst the other team had 7 shots, 4 on target. Yes, misprofiling. Buying another team's player who had not been good for 65 million on £265000 a week is misprofiling. Yes, misprofiling. Keep living of 89 points last year. Jokers!!
@@slypopo8900 so havertz is the problem? what is your captain and 'main creator' doing ? he didnt have 1 key pass against castle but youre here complaining about a player who has contributed 12 goals all comps for comparison isak has 15 goals all comps
Unfortunately Havertz signing will define Arteta's legacy. He bought him as Midfielder which did not work and switched him to FW which he is not. Now we are lacking a midfielder and a Forward.
@@edenhazard3390it angers me reading your comment because you are completely correct. Not only did we pass on much better players, those players got bought for less money and are on lower wages than what we pay havertz. 300k a week! For aerial duels which only lead to possession and ‘creating space’ which we do not exploit.
There’s only five, maybe six players that deserve to stay. Saliba, Gabriel, Rice, MLS, Nwaneri, and maybe Martinelli (because we know a better manager gets more out of him). The rest can all be sold and tossed to the rubbish bin.
Real Madrid went in for him, but they said they wouldn't pay more than 40 mil or so, Chelsea said they wanted 60+ so Real moved on. Thats what we should have done.
It genuinely feels like Newcastle were the team Arsenal think they are. They have the quality, the clinical finishing and the rigid powerful midfield. I feel for Saka watching this. He is probably angry thinking what this team are without him. He puts his SOUL on the line to improve year after year and the one time hes recovering from surgery, no one pulls their weight. Sad to see.
Every successful side is built around having a strong spine and Arsenal are lacking the last piece in the jigsaw and Arteta is being stubborn in not rectifying the issue. He’s invested a lot into Havertz and won’t accept he’s made a mistake. Every team makes mistakes with certain players and they move them on as soon as they can. Arteta instead is doubling down.
I think they need more than an Havertz replacement, need a attacking oriented midfield asap and someone on the left wing, but will the board choose the right players?
Before we had Santi Wilshere Ozil Rosicky Ramsey Alexis in the 11 starting now we have Martinelli who dribbles like a 10 years old kid with his head on the ground the profil of players we got is not to play creative football
If you are an Arsenal fan, and you’re watching the game minute by minute, you should be clever enough to know that no signing will fix this team. Arteta needs to leave because he has lost his mind. The last time we played decent football was 30 Nov. 90% of the game is spent passing the ball between Raya, Saliba, and Gabriel. This is criminal football. If everything stays how it is, and Arteta remains stubborn and rigid in his ideas, don’t be shocked if we finish 5th. We won’t make it through this month of January with wins. Signings alone won’t fix this
If you're clever enough, you'll see that we created clear goalscoring chances from open play and set pieces but were unable to score. That's on the players. With better offensive players we win that game easily. Problem is converting not creating. We make good chances look like crap ones atm.
LOL - you seem to be indicating Arteta is crazee. I would posit it is infact YOU who has lost ya marbles.... This a WorldClass manager/coach who's players dont take their chances and hasnt been backed last Summer.... Yee of miniscule memory, Where were we at 5 seasons ago.... and where are we at now...?
Also world class managers/coaches win trophies, Mourinho was rated because he won trophies, same with Pep, same with any big coach. You know which managers are rated but not for their trophies? the ones who manage the “smaller” clubs. We aren’t a small club. Arteta has taken us far as he can. In another world where he wasn’t going up against Pep, would he have won it? Probably. 89 points is good to win most seasons but the fact of the matter is we didn’t make it across the finish line
@robbob1436 Arteta is not a world-class manager or coach having only had ONE head role in his career so far. He is a rookie, who has done well up to this point, but the stagnation (some may say regression) is clear. He has probably taken us as far as he can.
Honestly this was a refreshing Pod Cast, no overly positivity, for the 1st time every-one is on the same page. This is how we feel as Arsenal Fans for a long time
This isn't on the owners at all. Arteta has Havertz, Jesus, Martinelli, Sterling and Trossard. Most of which are his signings. Them not performing doesn't mean the board have to throw another 100mil at it. It's Arteta's job to make it work and he is failing.
Let me ask ya something Who was it who signed Nicholas Pepe when emery was manager ? The club Emery wanted zaha and got record transfer breaker Nicholas pepe Just because arteta is manager Doesn’t mean he’s solely responsible for all the transfers brought into the club As above proves
Second question I will ask you Who’s responsible for bringing a replacement for our sporting director edu who’s currently on GARDENING LEAVE yes GARDENING LEAVE picking up wages every week to sit at home and chill with his family until his contract expires Third question? Why do you think edu truthfully left his role If was on mutual terms that contract would of been terminated on mutual consent with the club But he’s being made to sit at home and ride his Arsenal contract out until expiry 4th November edu left his Arsenal role Today is 8th January and we have no sporting director in a transfer window where the club and team is in a mini crisis Is that artetas job aswell ? Or the owners
Only noise coming from the club right now Is talks about stadium expansion Deja vu from when we bought the emirates stadium for me It stinks brother Absolutely stinks 💯👌
A good coach accepts his mistakes and rectifies them not double down on them like Arteta. He simply won’t admit certain signings haven’t worked and still keeps playing them instead of looking for replacements.
Captain Scarlet is a talent and career killer: Ben White needed surgury before the season started but Arteta kept playing him. Rice had a broken toe but Arteta made him take corners. He has run Saka into the ground. Arteta MUST be replaced.
I was just thinking the exact same thing. He's never played alongside a great striker so no wonder he doesn't understand what a great striker can bring to the team.
We let Toney go to Saudi. When he was available he even delayed the move just in case we came in for him. We needed an out an out Striker/CF. And we were too arrogant to get him like we don't need him. Same thing happened with Mahrez when he was at Leicester. We need to get a forward and Arteta needs to get a trophy or his job is on the line.
Jordan is absolutely right that why I’m mad we came a long way and so closed to winning top trophies and the manager has to take responsibility instead he’s there making excuses about the ball ⚽️
Remember the clip when robbie says ” klopp is a failure because he got 1 premier league title in 6 year ” ??? Arteta in 6 years now why are you not asking the same question ??
Klopp went up against the greatest team and manager in PL history. 1 PL is an incredible achievement considering he spent half of what every other top team spent.
The worst part of the Kai mistake is it was 2 mistakes. First, buying him for midfield when he isn’t the midfield player we needed. Second, because Mikel didn’t want to admit he made a mistake, he is desperate for Kai to succeed at striker, so keeps playing him there, and it led Arsenal to not buy a real striker in the summer
We need new approach and tactics he should ask him How to play fluid football Bournemouth Fulham Forest play better than us and they dont have better players than us. It’s about the tactics and instructions the coach give to the players that matters
You guys were playing exciting football and getting results with the same players last season. It’s clearly Arteta and his pragmatic tactics that are the issue. The attack is now too slow in transition and too predictable.
Genuine question, based on what you guys said, about the past recruitment in attack, should we even trust arteta with more money to recruit attackers. I’ve personally felt since that first season we went for the title, after that season the attack has not been the same. We have been heavilly reliant on the right hand side since beginning of last season, it was all in front of us to see.
Turkish, you’re not a broken record, you’re the record everyone should listen to. It’s painfully obvious as to what our problems are and far too many times, this club hasn’t addressed what it needs, wether it be a striker now, or a defensive midfielder under Wenger. Groundhog Day club
Isak and Gordon were available @Lee 4:50, that's true but what you guys fail to see is how a coach can develop a player and make him improve. Gordon has improved from his Everton days and Isak has definitely improved his game and do you know the common factor? The coach of Newcastle. Rice, Partey, martinelli, Jesus just to mention a few has regressed because of who? Arteta. We could sign oshimen or gyokeres now or even Isak and you'll see them holding on to a one goal lead or play safe because of Mikel. Wake up guys, Arteta doesn't even believe we have had terrible performances this according to him after the game against Brighton, he said it's a one off bad performance
Did u not watch him the 2nd half of last season scoring away at Tottenham, home at Chelsea..? He was very good from January to May. Jesus scored be criticised more than Havertz.
To be honest, it would be easier for Saka to fit into Newcastle with Isak up front and Gordon on the left to win a trophy, than replacing most of the squad in Arsenal. It was a disgrace last night.
We have no choice because he is supposed to be our marquee as he is paid 300k and we paid 65m. Newcastle only paid 5m more for isak. Look at the difference in quality. It was absolutely stupidity to sign havertz.
@@Paulinhox88 sheer numbers hide a lot of things. We never scored in tough situations. It was always front running and statpadding vs second half of the table. That attack was shocking in europe lol
Edu got quietly "let go" in my opinion! Cup tied Neto. Merino (that took months to secure), and panic addition Sterling is one of the worst windows we've had. Arsenal are not the worst team, but for a club on the cusp, we've not allowed the playing personnel to progress and be stronger. It's showing up more and more. Trossard. Thank you for your services but you are now surplus to requirements come the summer. Now moan about THAT! Odegaard needs to be providing direct assists or he can just be moved to an 8 and play that, because he's not giving a no.10 influence on that pitch with his G/A. Another thing that's very annoying is although we control games we concede way easier with much less effort from opponents. What's going on with that!
Tempted to set up a gofundme page to pay Turkish to sneak into one of those post match media rooms and ask all these questions to Arteta! Genuinely feel it could result in some change!
Whilst Turkish is often bang on the money, when it comes to Arsenal, he also plays a role in why our fanbase still get bantered (especially online). He goes on about the owners, and rightly so at times, yet at the end of last season, with these same owners and (mostly) the same players, he fully gassed up the club and boldly stated that "Arsenal will DEFINITELY win a major (EPL or UCL) by the end of the 2024/25 season. He didn't caveat that with the conditions that those achievements being tied to a transfer window. The main reason for his bravado was based upon the fact that he, and MANY others, assumed Arsenal would clean up if/when City fell off and that the clubs trajectory was leading to inevitable success. Now that it's seemingly not the case, and with Liverpool top of England and Europe, everything reverts back to transfers and ownership again. The chest is gone, and we're back on that roundabout that he himself spoke about years ago.
He did get too giddy when making the statement we'd win a major this season but we all get carried away and I blame the AFTV influence. Now the original Turkish is back spitting facts so let's be thankful for that because who else is there to speak sense against Julian and them man
Gyokeres wants to remain at Sporting for another 5 months and then move to a big club. Does he think Arsenal are bigger than Liverpool or the Manchester clubs?
After backing him as much as I can I’ve finally fully accepted Arteta has hit his limit on how far he can take us. It’s not a case of turning on the manager, I love the guy and what he’s done for us but you have to face everyone has a limit and he’s not going to get us over that line to reach the next level.
Im so confused, What has he done for you ? That trophy cabinet has been completely empty, Even Man United have won trophies, you need to change your mindset you have become a club where runners up is an achievement
Arteta had the nerve to question the fans leaving early as well. What an absolute joker. The fans left early because they knew the team he built, were never going to get back into the game. They left early because he has made us 1 of the most boring sides to watch. He needs to start looking at himself before trying to blame the fans.
Our attacks always look lacking talent because he’s trying to play peak City football without the peak City players. He tries to shape all players to the only tactics he knows. It’s completely the opposite to Wenger who cares about the preference of the players and adapts his tactics to suit the players. Pep’s way only works if we have top players in all positions, that’s impossible for us. Wenger’s way is also flawed, but at least it made sure the players get to use their talent to the fullest.
The manager has been overthinking every play and has drilled out every creative instinct from every player so they’re going through the motions choreographed by Arteta which unfortunately has become predictable and easy to defend against
March 2024 Bayern UCL defeat Arsenal media platforms said were “looking for X factor in summer to unlock defence” we sign a LB and CDM. I’m tired of being lied to by Arsenal media and owners. Wait 6 months we will go in for that player just for it to never happen ffs
The amount some of our best players have regressed under Arteta is mind boggling. When we got him, Odegaard was KNOWN for his attacking acumen and willingness to dribble past players. He may not have been world class at it but he had the knack, the skill and the willingness to take risks. Arteta coached any individuality and creativity from his game and made him into a mechanical right sided 8. Remember those low driven shots slotted into the bottom corner from outside the box? That was just two years ago. I haven't even seen him attempt one in ages. He took one of the most promising looking No 10s in the league and turned him into a version of himself at Arsenal.
Yeah edu agreed a deal and arteta didnt want toney because he didnt like his attitude. He doesnt realise that a goal scorer is supposed to be overconfident and almost cocky. They need that to try some shots sometimes that pay off. Look at ibrahimovic known for his so called ‘ego’ yet one of the best strikers ever.
Arteta has become obsessed with multi functional players but how about get a specialist for once! Merino not a replacement for Xhaka so the only salvageable plan is to make him a No6 and we need a creative runner in midfield who can properly carry the ball and be a creative force. Maybe it’s time to move Odegaard to the left 8 if there is someone out there who makes more sense on the right of the 3. That plus a striker and left winger are now absolute necessity. One of those front men has to be brought in Jan or we’re finished
I agree with what you are saying about Trossard I remember watching Trossard score a goal and I can't remember the game but he looked smug and arrogant in his celebrations and when everyone was fit he was always and still is a squad player I think he is toxic and surely we could get rid of him and get some money and buy some quality forwards. and ESR could still be a better option tha Merino.
We now have Lee apologising - at the end of last season we had Turkish apologising on video to Arteta and James has shifted numerous times. No consistency
They key thing hurting Arsenal today is our scouting network, I really don’t understand the key factors dat encourage a transfer for a player to arsenal
For those of you saying the board doesn't want to give Arteta money to sign a striker, ask yourself how come they keep giving him money to sign defenders and goalkeepers?
He’s clearly had the money, but clearly thinks he doesn’t need a striker. Tbf it worked for most of last season with the same players, but his tactics this season have been too pragmatic and its stifling many of the players.
Everything is a about the ownership, if the ownerahip insist on certain players it will happen. Arteta should get his own licks as well, but to pawn it off on him solely is misguided. This ownership only cares for champions League football and that's it, they're track record has already proven that.
@@1972dsrai It wasn't the same players. Merino wasn't here last season, so he knew the harvetz experiment backfired in midfield thus, Partey Rice Odegard midfield was evident. This season he brought in Calafiori who can't defend and look out of position alot, he's experimenting with Partey right back and he's interested in boring football so the fans should hold him accountable and not the owners. The owners will only sack Arteta if the fans wants it so
@@dchampionpraisekeyz8341 quick question, have u ever been in a work environment, where u had one leader who was ineffective and when the new leader comes along, the work environs become more efficient or vice-versa? Simple example, 20 years ago Abramovic wanted Shevchenko Mourinho didn't, well guess what, he became a Chelsea player despite the Coach not wanting him. Recent example Mpabbe to Real Madrid. Do u know who David Dein is, well he is the arsenals best modern day chairman, he brought the kroenke's in immediately recognized what they were about and tried to get Usmanov to buy the club, which lead to turmoil behind the scenes, David resigned shortly after. Point is David recognized what the kroenke are, they are in it for finances not glory or anything else. I don't know u, nor do I wish to belittle ur experience, but if u watch arsenal for these past 20 years since the kroenke's have taken over, it would become clearly evident.
Again emotions over facts. Pedro Neto and Evanilson better than our forwards? Are you guys mad? Neto got 3 g/a in the league. Evanilson is at 5 goals despite playing all games. Our forwards are struggling but remember we are 2nd in the league. If you didn't know you would think we are in United's position based on this podcast.
Neto is great. His numbers belie what he brings to the pitch. But I get your point with evanilson and it’s true. The truth is, there aren’t that many players in the PL that make Arsenal better. There are a bunch of strikers who peak at a certain level and Havertz is one of those.
Whilst the majority of fans were getting giddy that we challenged for a couple of titles, the rest of us saw what was coming. That is what makes it all so frustrating-we see what is coming, we are told we are negative, we are proven right. Just like Wenger. All over again. But that majority will never learn. I'm all so tired of it.
Proven right on what? Had Saliba and Tomiyasu not got injured in the same game in 22/23 we win the league. Last season, Trossard scores that tapin at home to Villa and we win that game and win the league. They aren't excuses. They're reasons. Context matters.
@@stevencarr3091 Nope, they are excuses. You say context because you refuse to hold this manager accountable. 5th season with £700m odd spent and you talking about a missed chance in one game? What about taking 1 point from 12 vs Fulham and Villa last season. Or losing at home to West Ham. Or losing away to Newcastle. Or drawing 2-2 away to a poor Chelsea. Or squandering the lead twice at home to Spurs. You will probably still be here in 5 years talking about 'context'.
@tvolution1 no in 5 years, with the continued investment in the team I'm expecting trophies. Why do simpletons such as u bring up the 700m spent...such a lazy, uneducated flimsy narrative. Why? How much have Spurs, Utd, Chelsea, and City spent in that period? More than us.

@@tvolution1 Arsenal blew it the season before as well, failing to beat a Southampton side that was struggling in the league, and this season, they’re continuing that trend, potentially threatening to break the 11-point record set by that infamous Derby County team. They blew 2-0 leads against Liverpool and West Ham, with the latter being a poor side despite their Conference League win that season. They also lost to a dreadful Everton side that survived on the last day, couldn’t get a win against Brentford at home, and suffered a loss at Forest, which gave City the first step of their treble and ultimately sealed the title.
Everyone is crying out for Arsenal to get a Striker. Do you think it will make any difference with the way Arsenal is playing? Pass, pass, pass, sideways & backwards with too many touches and no high intensity allowing the opposition players enough time to organize in their own box.
Haaland is getting dissed for having a poor season yet he’s out scoring Isak. Isak has 1 more goal in the league than Chris Wood. You are all making Isak out to be Van Basten. 😂😂😂
His technique, speed, dribbling, and finishing are far superior to anyone in the league. Even Haaland. Just put him in the treble winning city side and imagine what he'd do.

We cannot score goals because: 1. We don’t have enough quality players because of Arteta’s market choices 2. We don’t have striker because Arteta refuses to sign one because it won’t suit his system 3. Artetas system doesn’t allow free flowing attacking football to suit the players we do have Notice the common denominator🤔🤔
the players aren't that good. people keep talking about attacking football, it was coached. the players don't have that attacking football without lots of coaching. you complain about over coaching on one hand yet your fav moments are overcoached moments with average players like trossard. top4 squad that made many people think can win the league.

No striker will fix our team. Look at how Martinelli dribbled 2 seasons ago. Beautiful football. Positive, threatening and always beating his man. Now look at him. Over coached, no confidence and is clearing being berated for his defensive work over anything else.
Even though he gives the manager good money to spend. A bad owner is one who doesn't back the manager, is tight with transfer funds and says "work with what you have got" this man has given Arteta £800 million, sanctioned £105 million on 1 player. What else he he suppose to do.
It starts at the top. You fans need to cough up the money to get kroenke to up and go. But you don't and they aren't willing to sell. So you're just waiting for a manager to succeed for you *Despite* absentee owners. Yeah right, would ever happen.
Timber is a CB who also inverts meaning there’s no width on either flank.. hence why, you find Martinelli hugging the touchline.. otherwise it all becomes narrow! The slowness on throw ins is just annoying ..

Thank you so much for having these conversations regarding the season, the amount of people not willing to have these discussions is deeply worrying, felt like I was losing my mind because apparently arsenal is better than we’ve ever been before
we have 4 left backs on the bench, one of them being calafiori who cost good money, and we are playing a midfielder at LB. says it all. been saying this particular one for weeks in various places too.

Mugs. That’s what they are. They think they are better than what they are. Nobody’s ever n Europe. Red star Belgrade are a bigger name.
Exactly right, we say it in our culture: ' nothing lasts forever'.
And Real Madrid
Ive been watching this pod for so long, only realised now that it’s like therapy 😂
@@slypopo8900 I hear ya!
mis profiling of players? really? 89points with misprofiled players?
@kwekuosei5268 Yes. Misprofiling. When you have 23 shots with only 3 shots on target and 69% possession whilst the other team had 7 shots, 4 on target. Yes, misprofiling. Buying another team's player who had not been good for 65 million on £265000 a week is misprofiling. Yes, misprofiling. Keep living of 89 points last year. Jokers!!

what is your captain and 'main creator' doing ? he didnt have 1 key pass against castle but youre here complaining about a player who has contributed 12 goals all comps for comparison isak has 15 goals all comps
Unfortunately Havertz signing will define Arteta's legacy. He bought him as Midfielder which did not work and switched him to FW which he is not. Now we are lacking a midfielder and a Forward.

Why is havertz 65m and 265k? Who was in for him?
No one. Absolutely no one.

Sad to see.
He’ll be leaving for pastures greener
Every successful side is built around having a strong spine and Arsenal are lacking the last piece in the jigsaw and Arteta is being stubborn in not rectifying the issue. He’s invested a lot into Havertz and won’t accept he’s made a mistake. Every team makes mistakes with certain players and they move them on as soon as they can. Arteta instead is doubling down.
I think they need more than an Havertz replacement, need a attacking oriented midfield asap and someone on the left wing, but will the board choose the right players?
@@cyclingman1493 No way. Where's he gonna go? Real Madrid?
It’s not just the attackers .. we’ve got 1 creative midfielder in the squad.. and he’s been injured and out of form all season
Before we had Santi Wilshere Ozil Rosicky Ramsey Alexis in the 11 starting now we have Martinelli who dribbles like a 10 years old kid with his head on the ground the profil of players we got is not to play creative football
Who’s that?

When a manager is blaming the ball for a defeat then it's probably time to move on.
He was set up 😂

What a load of bollox, I bet you didn’t feel like this last season when we were one game away from winning the title? Short memory
@rikkidykes1770 , I actually did. Look at Martinelli
This isn't on the owners at all. Arteta has Havertz, Jesus, Martinelli, Sterling and Trossard. Most of which are his signings. Them not performing doesn't mean the board have to throw another 100mil at it. It's Arteta's job to make it work and he is failing.
Let me ask ya something
Who was it who signed Nicholas Pepe when emery was manager ?
The club
Emery wanted zaha and got record transfer breaker Nicholas pepe
Just because arteta is manager
Doesn’t mean he’s solely responsible for all the transfers brought into the club
As above proves
Second question I will ask you
Who’s responsible for bringing a replacement for our sporting director edu who’s currently on GARDENING LEAVE yes GARDENING LEAVE picking up wages every week to sit at home and chill with his family until his contract expires
Third question? Why do you think edu truthfully left his role
If was on mutual terms that contract would of been terminated on mutual consent with the club
But he’s being made to sit at home and ride his Arsenal contract out until expiry
4th November edu left his Arsenal role
Today is 8th January and we have no sporting director in a transfer window where the club and team is in a mini crisis
Is that artetas job aswell ?
Or the owners
Only noise coming from the club right now

A good coach accepts his mistakes and rectifies them not double down on them like Arteta. He simply won’t admit certain signings haven’t worked and still keeps playing them instead of looking for replacements.
Captain Scarlet is a talent and career killer:
Ben White needed surgury before the season started but Arteta kept playing him.
Rice had a broken toe but Arteta made him take corners.
He has run Saka into the ground.

First, buying him for midfield when he isn’t the midfield player we needed.
Second, because Mikel didn’t want to admit he made a mistake, he is desperate for Kai to succeed at striker, so keeps playing him there, and it led Arsenal to not buy a real striker in the summer

We have been heavilly reliant on the right hand side since beginning of last season, it was all in front of us to see.

The Auba curse is real
I look forward to the day Arteta is no longer Arsenal manager
And then the club go backwards lol
The manager has been overthinking every play and has drilled out every creative instinct from every player so they’re going through the motions choreographed by Arteta which unfortunately has become predictable and easy to defend against

Ivan Toney 40mil was allowed to go Saudi...wen we've bin crying out for a striker..😢😢

Big up Jordan too, he’s been talking about our lack of chance creation.
Just put him in the treble winning city side and imagine what he'd do.
i have this theory and it may sound crazy but hear me out.....Raheem SterWIN !! He's come in as our new Club mascot im almost 99% sure of it. ( The theory is theorying )
Big up my fellow Turk everytime.
We bleed passion so i understand his frustration all too well.. OG fans who have been here from pre 2000s and know what this team represents and how we're being dragged through the mud.
This normal, happens most years now. Out of the title race, out of a cup within a week. More than likely to be knocked out of the FA cup soon too.
Blaming Havertz when his only reception was a deflection is wild, especially when Odegaard, Trossard, Partey and Saliba had stinkers.
We cannot score goals because:
1. We don’t have enough quality players because of Arteta’s market choices
2. We don’t have striker because Arteta refuses to sign one because it won’t suit his system
3. Artetas system doesn’t allow free flowing attacking football to suit the players we do have
Notice the common denominator🤔🤔
the players aren't that good.
people keep talking about attacking football, it was coached. the players don't have that attacking football without lots of coaching. you complain about over coaching on one hand yet your fav moments are overcoached moments with average players like trossard. top4 squad that made many people think can win the league.
Well put
Nah you are just clueless, it's crazy because not so long ago people weren't talking like this but this fan base is so reactionary.
@@curtisohara9158 Mate Arteta has been with us for 5 seasons, going 6 and has failed at every objective we set ourselves. Failed to qualify for champions league when it was in our hands, bottled the league when it was in our hands, failed to win the league again the season after when we were in a good position. Get knocked out the cups early pretty much every season. Shocking European record. Still no ST when it’s clear as day that’s what we need. Spent £700 mil and what has that gotten us?
@Teezy_Ty All this waffling to sack him, get a new manager not even a top one because this club don't work like that just to go backwards once again and it will just be a cycle. Nobody out there will elevate this club with these owners. Alot of people seem to be new to arsenal. They don't do things fans want. So what's the point🤣🤣
No striker will fix our team. Look at how Martinelli dribbled 2 seasons ago. Beautiful football. Positive, threatening and always beating his man. Now look at him.
Over coached, no confidence and is clearing being berated for his defensive work over anything else.
The darkest day in Arsenal’s history was the day Kroenke bought the majority stake in Arsenal
Even though he gives the manager good money to spend. A bad owner is one who doesn't back the manager, is tight with transfer funds and says "work with what you have got" this man has given Arteta £800 million, sanctioned £105 million on 1 player. What else he he suppose to do.
@@5eurocups2005they need to demand better results
Lee trying to make a shuffling deck analogy, then continously shuffling up his words was hilarious
Are we not tired of going around in circles with this establishment?
It starts at the top.
You fans need to cough up the money to get kroenke to up and go.
But you don't and they aren't willing to sell.
So you're just waiting for a manager to succeed for you *Despite* absentee owners. Yeah right, would ever happen.
Timber is a CB who also inverts meaning there’s no width on either flank.. hence why, you find Martinelli hugging the touchline.. otherwise it all becomes narrow!
The slowness on throw ins is just annoying ..
im listening to this podcast whilst eating bithkiwts
😂😂

52:28 what James is saying here is real real facts. Odegaard isn’t a 10 he’s an 8 and his whole game style is an 8. Im unsure if he will be starting for us in a few years (sounds mad but it’s the truth)
1:07:02 THE REALEST!!!!!!!
Thank you so much for having these conversations regarding the season, the amount of people not willing to have these discussions is deeply worrying, felt like I was losing my mind because apparently arsenal is better than we’ve ever been before
My Fear is that Arteta will over coach Myles Lewis-Skelly and we will loose the skill he possess.
Good result for vArsenal against a strong Newcastle United side!
Should be proud to hold them to 2 goals!
Highest paid player in the squad, please justify it Lee.
we have 4 left backs on the bench, one of them being calafiori who cost good money, and we are playing a midfielder at LB.
says it all. been saying this particular one for weeks in various places too.
Embarrassing fan base.... You guys have the biggest football fan channel. USE IT TO GET THE KROENKES OUT! USE IT TO GET THIS CLUB TO SIGN PLAYERS! Fix some protests. DO SOMETHING!!!!
The fact is Arsenal fans don't really give a damn as long as they are profiting out of the club.
You lot are the same exact like the owners. As long as i'm profiting, im comfortable.
Bro, I never thought about it, but the part at around 15:30 is so true. We get q bit of hyoe, but everybody really knows where it ends.
if Arteta cant win a simple cup like the carabao cup he certainly aint winning the champions league or the prem with Arteta i feel if we get a winning manager a striker and one or 2 other players i feel like we could go places
did chelsea win caraboa cup in 2021?
@@bishalsubedi5954 No! But it also hadn't been 21 years since they'd won the league or 30+ years since they'd won the league cup 😂
