It looks beautiful, I'd use it as a table runner or tucked into the neck of a sweater. I'm a rigid heddle weaver who started spinning last year. For more successful weaving you need to do some maths unfortunately! Sett. Wrap yarn around a ruler, not tight, count the number of wraps to an inch, then divide by 2. This gives the sett, or size of heddle dent to use. Width. Desired length of project, add 10% for shrinkage. Multiply by sett. This will give the number of ends, divide by 2 to give the number of slots. Length. Desired length of project (+/- fringe). Add 10% for shrinkage. Add about 18 inches for loom waste. This will give the total warp length of an individual warp thread. Yarn required for warp. Number of warp ends multiplied by length in yards ,= Total amount needed for warp. Weft. More or less the same amount as the warp. Hope this helps.
