That’s why I love Calisthenics and we all feel the same , i’am 50 and I feel like I was 25 train with young that could be my sons we share that powerful passion for calisthenics and I never felt that good in this past 10 years I wish I knew that sport earlier. Wonderfull progression mate 💪🏻
Took me exactly a month to get a clean 1 rep hefesto and continue for several months. I only trained it 1-2 times a week as it’s a move u really have to respect, just like the planche.
Yeah you’re right. Although with planche, I can train everyday but with the hefesto I gotta be very careful cuz of the crazy amount of strain it puts on the wrists and forearms. However, the hefesto is kinda easy come easy go
that's hard move buts its definetly not bodyweight bicep curl. look how much work u do with ur biceps during this move ( full range about 60-80 cm depending on ur height) while the center of gravity moves like 20-30 cm ( ur pelvis) so its like 1/2 bodywieght( or depending on wariation full body weight but only half of the curl move) curl all the other work is made by changing ur body from hallow to hollow and pushing with ur arms in the right moment so technique not strentgh. the reason u feel ur biceps is that the long head is in big disadvantage due to extreme shoulder position( long head starts on ur scapula )
Oh yeah, thanks for pointing that out. I agree, it is not purely a bodyweight bicep curl, but it is not 1/2 bodyweight either. It is most similar to the incline bench dumbell curl with your bodyweight. This is way harder than a normal bodyweight bicep curl so now if you split it in 1/2 snd keep the second half for technique it will be almost the same difficulty🤷🏻♂️
Pronated grip not upinated grip. Under grip like here or Over grip This is a Triceps dips exercise. I saw in 1969 finger tips and palm ponting forward not backwards (Over grip).

Thanks for the support bro!
For me personally, the Hefesto is the hardest Calisthenic move, it took me literal ages to achieve it.
Ages ? WTF have you done ?
@@esdanger2676 depends on weight
