Being right there for the 7.00 average (along with the WR fail which I didn't quite understand at the time) along with being right there for this average, I really felt like I was part of a journey: a journey of my own. Ever since I started speedcubing the pyraminx really interested me and since you were the world record holder, I was really inspired and decided to delve into pyraminx myself (which was a mistake) although i didnt go the same route and went with Intuitive l4e with some algs. Well, I've come a far way, even since you got that 7.00 that made me sad-happy, happy for you but sad it wasn't sub 7. Obviously I'm not quite on the same level yet for 3x3 and pyra yet, especially with that counting 4 in finals but you've always been a good role model in the community and someone I've looked up to. I hope I can see you at more competitions in the future and maybe beat you in a round of pyra, lol.

You sound like me haha. When I started Pyra also really interested me and I progressed to high 4 averages before taking a break using Drew's techniques and all sorts of other top first stuff. I took about a six month break when I felt I had plateaued but came back and learnt L4E. Now I'm about 60/40 still favouring top first for most scrambles but I'm back to where I was at a year ago and hoping to break the 4 second barrier once and for all quite soon. Hopefully with practice I'll be giving you both a run for your money 😜
