wake up call - slam poem for the Amazon rainforest

We need to rethink how we live and how our actions have an impact on nature around us. We need to start acting. The way we are currently living is not sustainable.
The fires in the Amazon rainforest and other forests around the world are devastating and I was upset and shocked when I heard about them. I really hope that this is a wake up call.
