I’ll be 80 next month if God grants me more time & I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, but I did not grow up with music in our home. I was still in grade school, about the 5th or 6th grade, about 11 or 12 & I was at my a friend’s house. They kept their radio playing all the time. When I first heard Blueberry Hill by Fats Domino I knew it was different & I loved him & his music. We’ll probably never see the likes of him & Ray Charles ever again. So glad I got to listen to this concert. Thank you UA-cam!!
I REMEMBER THAT FATS CONCERT IN GERMANY LIKE IT WAS YESTERDAY ....THESE GUYS WERE SWINGING & MADE YOU SWING .....PLAYED THIS BUNCH A THOUSAND TIMES NEVER GOT TIRED OF IT !!!! NEARLY SAME INTRO EVERY TIME BUT DIFFERENT SONG !!GOOD FEELING MUSIC
In the 50s my Daddy had in Houston one of the best orchestras. He retired to Santa Barbara to take care of my Grandpa.Everytime I visited him I sang Blueberry Hill and he would play the piano. Now everytime I hear the song I cry. i may be 76 but I'm not ashamed. His name was Claro Galvan and his Taxco orchestra .
I'm 65, we're blessed being raised up on the best music. I just can't abide what's supposed to be music in recent years. Thank God for my albums, and UA-cam
This has got to be one of the greatest concerts of all time! Unbelievable to have Fats Domino, Ray Charles and Jerry Lee Lewis all together playing Jambalaya! Just tremendous! I could listen forever.
Folks, it doesn't get any better than this, wow! How much talent together in a bar, those lucky few that were there to see them! If only I could have been there, that would have been the greatest memory.
Ronnie Wood in the back playing backup to the backup of the backup and acting like this is the best day of his life. He knows he's on stage with giants and just happy to be there.
Jerry Lee Lewis ..poeh ..wereldster wat de muziek betreft een man na aan mijn hart vindt het een gewéldige zanger / pianist niet te evenaren , zijn nog woorden tekort ! " Het gaat hém goed ! Gr.❤ 🇳🇱
I was a Concert Promoter in the 60's in Baton Rouge and New Orleans. I was my dream to have all three of the Greats on Piano at the same time and my Baton Rouge Montel Records in the red shirt & sunglasses, Harold Cowart playing Bass. What a terrific performance!
If you were a teenager in 60 early 60's every teenager black or white love Fats music we never thought about what color singer we just loved there music . We love to crank it up and dance we had the best yrs of growing up the best music. They were the best of the best.
He's definitely in a class all to himself when it comes to the piano. He started playing when he was 8 ,loved it!! I grew up not far from Jerry Lee Lewis & lived next door to Fats I'm New Orleans for years in his hot pink house 🤣🤣🤣

What a soul-lifting joy. Incredible talent playing beautiful music with no division, anger, hate, or profanity. Just respect and love. This the cure for what ails the world.
@Tennessee Phil we were doing better until our govt decided to sow division among Americans & I for one am sick of it. It's been going on since 2008 & it's only gotten worse. This is beginning to look like the end of America as we've known it. It's heartbreaking 💔
@@Stardust_4300 the whole western world is pushed into division and hate by a rootless international clique working on destroying peaceful western societies in North America and Europe
I had no Idea when I was a kid just what a gift I had to play all this & sing it without any music sheets or voice lessons...now in 70s & just wanna dance barefoot all over the floor!!
What a great piece of American music!!! Love it. Just dont' watch it when you're trying to get to sleep. It'll never happen. Blessed to have the performance available to watch.
Irreducible:. Without Honky Tonk it would never happened. Gospel, ginmill Honky Tonk at threat of gunpoint. Ain't music grand? Thanks, Fats, I was in the band and your music helped forever, just as your Spirit is, the intellect of your soul/spirit, will live forever. Thanks Fats, see ya.
Y’all must be getting on a bit. We lived through 50’s 60’s 70’s etc music. Fantastic time, but we got the memories. Still rock a bit, maybe the slow ones, hows about you?
Une merveilleuse synthèse avec différents courants de jazz de la Nouvelle Orléans et le Boogie Woogie, c'est Antoine Fats Domino qui nous l'a offert. C'est pour l'éternité. Merci Antoine Fats. Repose en paix.
Was so lucky to see Fats live at the old Hammersmith Odeon in London and loved that he dedicated the great Blueberry Hill to Elvis 🙏 he sang with a smile
Just so happy and proud that I was living in these times enjoying the music from these guys. And thanks for technology that they will always be around.

This was the music of my high school/college years. Oh, the hours spent listening to these guys! Saw Ray at the old San Jose Civic (CA).The whole building shook with the dancing. Young, old, black, white, brown GETTING DOWN! All as one - everybody getting along with everyone else! Music is the great leveler. Sitting here crying, but it is worth it to hear this never again coming together of the greats!
Fats. Said blueberry hill was for the late elvis Presley. That was so so so so sweet of him. Yes all they needed there was elvis he would've been the icing on the cake. Wow this is great. Good music. Not like this crap. They try to play today. I don't know. What it is now days but it ain't. Music. That's for sure. Cc rider. Very fabulous. Elvis. Sang it. All the time he made. It his song. Love them all so. So full of soul. God bless them all. Thank you for sharing. Fats. Keeps a smiling cuz the audience is loving it. And he is to. Keep on smiling
What a great performance from three of the greats of rock and roll, its ironic it was in New Orleans the city where it all started. I'll bet Louis Armstrong would have loved to have joined them playing his horn on Jambalya. Music is getting so segregated these days, then people came together to have a good time. Priceless performance.
