Fats Domino. The real deal. The groove king. No amount of rehearsals will make you play like this. It comes from a special place deep within. The whole band knows exactly what they are doing. Amazing rhythm section too.
Fats Domino,what a beautiful voice, what a beautiful smile. Great atmosphere, the music is magnificent,congratulations to the musicians, i would have liked to attend this show so much. You Americans had the best.

My grandpapa would dissapear for weeks sometimes and nobody knew where he went. He got him a car and a driver, sat him a crate of beer on the backseat and off he was.. This was told to me by my dad few times shaking his head as if he's seeing his dad get in the backseat al over again.. I know Grandpapa was a fan of Fats Domino, loved this type of music.. Grandpapa had been logging from a very young age. I imagine he made many friends going down the rivers all those years, all over the place from Canada to the US.. I like to think he'd be off to see old friends and quite possibly end up at concerts such as these AND DANCE THE NIGHT AWAY.. One of my aunts said he had a particular style of dancing and you just HAD to dance like that or it wouldn't be right.. "Blue berry hill" is a song all of us grandchildren know. What a hoot this concert is to watch. Pure JOY.
It makes me so glad that we still have all these great videos & songs to play. Brings back so many wonderful memories! But it also brings so much heartache to think of sooo many of the legends, that we have lost! RIP to all of them!❤
