Randy I've listened to most if not all of your tutorials and UA-cam videos about Rockabilly, Scotty Moore, Johnny Cash and Luther Perkins and this one about Cliff, his style and famous sound and licks! Always absolutely spot on! Thanks for your contribution to these famous names!

Nice lesson! Cliff was one of the early rock & roll guitar greats, between them Cliff and Scotty Moore influenced millions of guitarists worldwide.

For the first lick, it is helpful (at least for me) to practice it in a higher key such as A. The reason being, I have a natural tendency to use the open notes when I'm playing it in G. Practicing in another key assures that I'll be ready to play it in any key without relying on open notes.

Happy New Year Randy! I have a request for a Rockabilly Special! I think it would have been cool if you did a Johnny Burnette, Paul Burlison/Grady Martin Special. Grady Martin and Paul Burlison had some amazing soloes and licks, and i think people would have liked it!
(BTW! Thank you for liking my Scotty Moore video on Facebook)
    Cheers!🇧🇻
