Looking great! I helped an airforce guy build the wings on a cozy looong ago. where did you get plans? do they still exist? having to build all fittings due to not being available? thanks
@@19rocket64 On the contrary, I believe it's still entirely possible to build a brand new LongEZ-equivalent without much trouble. There's an open-source version online called OpenEZ: www.canardzone.com/forums/forum/394-open-ez/ I believe this entails downloading the CAD templates online, getting your hands on old sets of construction instructions for the Long (ex: ebay) to get the "blow by blow", and getting some of the parts from 3rd parties that include (since they all provide parts for cozies too, and cozies are very similar to LongEZ's...) : www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/kitspages/longez.php www.cozygirrrl.com/aircraftparts.htm www.eznoselift.com/ aerocad.com/6-long-eze-racer .... If don't want to build, excuses won't be found here. ;) I'm sure there's more resources on building long ez's today I'm not even aware of.

Thanks, the plans are still for sale from Aircraft Spruce. Various suppliers still make pretty much all the parts one needs to build the plane.
@@Chatsu8o but not for the longez and variety right?. I don't want the other seats/larger engine. Thanks for the reply

Actually, I see you can buy those long plans from here instead of hunting for old copies: www.dragonaero.com/RAFCDROM.htm
