I also am 52 I have always been a loner. Accused of everything under the sun. My coach called me the best player of the bench. And yes played every game 20 points a game and the only player he ever had go 10 for 10 with 8 rebounds. But no one liked me even the best players. They all feared me. Not sure way. I was 6'3 160 back then. Now im 200. Not sure why i scare people but to this day managers at work fear me. But most of them are fake and bullies. I can not stand the way they treat people there is never any reason to tear people down. We all gain by building people up. God bless keep your head up.

I definitely have sigma traits. It's not a label that I take on, trying to be "above" other people and boost my own ego, but I am very quiet and self reflective. I rarely feel lonely when I'm by myself, working, studying or just going for a walk. I am most lonely when I'm with a group of people. The superficial conversation, competing for attention, trying to outcompete each other all the time, looks so ridiculous. When you don't "play" that game, you are viewed as the outsider, the lowest ranking man. A few people do see the light in you, but most are viewing you as irrelevant. It's all based on false assumptions. People assume that if you are quiet, it's either because you are shy/insecure, or it's because you don't think or have any opinions or are not that intelligent. Then when you add your thought through opinions, people don't put a lot of weight on them, because you don't have social authority. Or people do see your authority and they get afraid and defensive, because you are suddenly a threat to their ego. It's sometimes hard being a sigma because all we want is to explore, learn and add value, but our actions are seen through a different and conflicting value system.
I'm picking up what your laying down. Sometimes when several people are gathered and discussing a problem or situation, I will suddenly come up with a solution or different angle that i know will work. They either cut me off or don't even let me enter the conversation without being rude. So i just walk away. Idiots.

I discovered that I have these qualifications I always enjoy peace. Quiet places, I don't like going to parties I would like to be near a beach or be in the country.

There is a very thin line in between sigma and beta... People don't realize it. Also sigma male looks good on paper but when you do a deep dive it is pretty annoying life. You got less friends forget about any help cause you are close to anti-social tendencies. The you got the attitude issues like an alpha but as no one knows you cause of that you just are viewed as an A hole. So it's better to be in the middle area of alpha and neutral then being a sigma or beta (beta is a given that it's bad for mankind).
Sigma is neither Alpha or Beta, he doesn't belong to the social ranking even, he just minds his own business. Good sigma knows the balance when to be an Alpha or Beta to save the world.
