I have found a genuine woman, and have been happily married for almost 17 years now. Took some time though. I know I have had at least 6 women truly interested in me before her, but they failed my tests.

It isn't so much that sigma males have an "unwavering belief in their own abilities", it is that they have an accurate view of them. A sigma male will be honest about their level of confidence in specific situations, and never stray into over-confidence or bragging. They know how to plan a specific task, and will do research if required, or ask experts for advice / opinions. So it isn't so much that they are able to do everything, it is that they know they can learn to do anything.
And they also know what tasks are out of their reach and will not attempt them. When challenged they will be open and honest about why they are not suited to do that task, and usually give advice for a substitute. They have no problem with letting someone else take the lime light if that person is more suited. Which means that in a team, they can become the leader, or work together with another leader if that other person is more capable for the role. They can not work in teams led by an inferior person.

Re Independence: A sigma male is more than ready to change his plans or compromise as long as what a woman asks of him doesn't conflict with his own inner goals.
